We're going to have the twins in our rom for awhile, but I've been debating how to arrange the cribs in the nursery. Did you put your multiples' cribs close together or further apart? I thought they might like being closer together, but maybe I'm overthinking it.

We have our cribs to each side of a window, splitting the room. There wasn't room to arrange them any other way so that was our only option.

Hi - ours are on two different walls, mainly because the nursery is small. They make kind of an L shape, with a window in between. Hasn't been an issue, thus far. I have some friends with identical twins who prefer sleeping together, so they just share a crib. I think it's all personal preference, really.

Ours are in the nursery but semi close. There's a small cabinet between them.

We have them on the same wall (but at almost 7 weeks they're not in them yet). I originally had them splitting a window, but liked the look of the room better with them on the same wall. Functionally, we'd be a few steps closer to the changing table if they were on either side of the window, but that isn't a big concern for us.

Our cribs were on the same wall, separated by a small dresser in between. For the first few weeks we kept the babies in the same crib together. I don't remember there being any issues once we separated them.

separate walls with the changing table in between. the set up is based on the layout and size of the room

I don't remember there being any issues once we separated them. This is how ours will be set up initially mainly because that's they only way they can go in our room. Eventually the other bedroom in the house will become the nursery and the cribs will be on different walks due to window and door configurations.

We had them in our room for 6 months but we napped them in the nursery sooner. The cribs were right next to each other along the same wall for a while.
We moved the cribs to be on opposite sides - mostly because at least 20 people tagged me in a viral article about a baby/toddler trying to climb from one to the other and falling between.
I think they sleep better being on opposite sides - they will chat for a while but it's easier for one to sleep without being bothered by the other.
