Weeks pregnant/Due date: 12w4d / March 21
Baby is the size of a: Toy army man
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue!!
Appointments: I see the high risk doctor for the first time Thursday. I'll get another u/s 🎉
Symptoms: Exhaustion. Not feeling sick so much anymore but I have no appetite for anything which is sad. I cry all the time, happy, sad, funny. All the time. Can't control it, lol.
Milestones: Found out it's a boy! And I think I'm getting past the morning sickness.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Feeling super anxious this week before my appointment, I was finally starting to relax and the appointment coming up has me off. It doesn't help that my first loss due date is this Saturday, and I'm struggling with my emotions with it and what to do. I don't want to ignore it, but I don't really know how to honor it? I'm forever grateful for the growing baby we have now, but I'm feeling sad about the baby I should have been holding this week, too. If anyone has any ideas on how to make the day special, I'd love to hear them.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? One weiner dog! He's our first baby and extra spoiled. He'll be 5 next month.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 11 weeks Due date April 1st.
Baby is the size of a: Fig
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: undecided but leaning toward finding out.
Appointments: 9/21
Symptoms: constipation, hungry all the time, still averse to coffee and some smells, but I think its getting better.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I need to tell my boss about being pregnant but I have been ignoring it...maybe he won't notice my growing belly.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? No. When I don't have to wipe my children's butts, I may consider one. Or if we moved to a more farm like property. My daughter would like one now though. I have a unusual view of animals/pets, I grew up on a farm so even pets lived outside and had a purpose/job. A pet in my house is not something I am used to. I know I am not normal/broken.

jewelsofthenile I grew up with only outside dogs, then I got our little lap dog who became the most spoiled thing in the house 😂 I don't think you're weird, but I definitely wouldn't want big dogs/animals inside the house.

pambee, I also have a weiner dog, they are the best! They really are. He's got me wrapped around his little paw and he's slept in our bed (between us, using one of our pillows like he's a human of course) from day 2, much to my husband's dismay 😂

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 8 + 5 / April 17th Baby is the size of a: Green olive FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Finding out Appointments: September 20th for blood work/genetic testing - nurse said we can probably find out the sex with this test too, which was the best news ever! I'm impatient. Symptoms: Still cannot eat most things. Nausea, especially if I haven't eaten. Tired. Rants/Raves/Vents: We have a trip to Topsail, NC in 2 weeks. I realized that we're probably going to be hurricane'd out of the trip, so now I'm thinking of sending DD to daycare a few days that week and just having day dates with MH. And maybe napping. And I'm almost looking forward to that more than I was to the beach. GTKY: Do you have any pets? Not anymore. We had a beagle/coonhound mix for nearly 10 years, but we had to say good-bye to him in February. He was our first baby. We will get another when the kids are older. My DD fell in love with my friend's dog that we watched recently, but with a baby on the way I don't think now is the time.

pambee huge hugs, I’m sorry for your loss and milestones are so tough. I do encourage people to do something - anything that feels appropriate to them - with intention. Buy yourself flowers, light a candle, take the day off work and cry and take baths, go on a family outing, whatever. Just do it knowing your honouring your baby and your grief. ❤️

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 12w1d
Baby is the size of a: plums
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM and TTM (twins)
Team: Found out they detected a y chromosome! Since they are identical, we need to start thinking of boy names! I had 3-4 girl names all ready to go.
Appointments: Just had a good 12 week NT scan. In the waiting room for the follow up with the doctor. Then a MFM visit on 9/18.
Symptoms: Tired and still some waves of nausea. Feeling more real!
Milestones: Passed both loss milestones. Broke out my maternity pants and I'm so much more comfortable. After the good appt, I'm looking at Old Navy to use up some supercash and I might walk up to H&M this week to browse. I can't find my Bellabands or my H&M mama tanks! 😭
Rants/Raves/Vents: Just relieved after the scan today. I always get myself worked up before them. The tech here stays quiet until the end when she turns the screen around, and I just want to shout "What do you seeeee?????"
GTKY: Do you have pets? No, I wish we could get a dog or cat, but I'm allergic. ☹

Appointments: Wednesday cannot come soon enough!

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 8w + 3d
Baby is the size of a: wild strawberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: I have to convince H to open the envelope
Appointments: Next one is 9/20
Symptoms: nausea, exhaustion, food aversion, did I mention nausea?
Milestones: I graduated from the RE today! I still have to wait for lab results for my medication instructions, but today was my last RE appointment! Good thing since my file folder was about to bust at the seam.
Rants/Raves/Vents: H has been super this past week. I pretty much didn’t get out of bed yesterday and he didn’t even give me a hard time. I feel guilty enough as it is.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? I have a crazy 5yr old labradoodle. He’s also the bestworst.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 12 weeks / March 24
Baby is the size of a: Plum... how did that happen so quickly??
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM. Have a 2 yo boy.
Team: Finding out, for sure.
Appointments: Friday for MaterniT test (sp?)
Symptoms: I am feeling so much better than a few weeks ago. I was dreading feeling sick on our vacation but nausea started to east right before. I have a lot more energy and have gotten back to some easy running, which makes me feel so much better.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I am also really, really dreading the work conversation. Last time I was able to hide it for so long.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? No, we live in a tiny apartment now but I did have a bird before for 20 years.

Eames congrats on the boys!! sammie I’m dreading the work conversation too. My boss likes to be difficult. Fortunately I’m in a different office, so he doesn’t actually see my bump (currently bloat...) hanging out.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 11+ 2/ Eviction date of St Patty's
Baby is the size of a:
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM with twins
Team: Finding out
Appointments: 26th Symptoms: headaches, exhaustion, peeing
Milestones: did genetic bloodwork today. Hopefully we'll get results sooner than later!
Rants/Raves/Vents: another migraine with aura today, while at work. That was fun (not!)
GTKY: Do you have any pets? Yes, two giant labs! Moose is 5, 95 pounds, and is a black lab. Max is yellow, 3 and 68 pounds. We got Moo when we decided we were going to start trying for a baby so they'd grow up together. Max we got when we (or rather I) was so sad about dealing with infertility and I wanted another baby right that second so we brought him home.
