Ok one complaint and one good thing. Both kids were up last night. DD1 was up for a bit with a complaint about her stomach, she ate a bunch of pie which I think is what caused it. I’m still waiting to hear from the hospital for our referral. I hope it’s soon.
And the good is we went to look at some open houses in a town we may move to. 2 were a total bust but one was good. Both us us had a good feel about the area, the price range was good and the agent had her kids in the school in the area and said the local parks and community center are great. The only thing I don’t like is it’s more suburban and spread out than I’d like. But overall it’s got potential.

Complaint- my dad was nice enough to let my dogs out at lunch today but he texted that it was raining and he didn’t know what to do. You pick them up and push them outside. They are 12 pounds each. And now I’ll have dirty rain water paw prints to clean.
Good things- ummm my new job seems to be fairly easy. I was worried it would be a lot out of my comfort zone but it’s almost like a step back to what I was doing 5 years ago. Which is ok!

I got lil fella down for a nap this am! Hoping he'll sleep for at least 1 hr which will be up in about 10 mins hah! He refused naps this weekend. I wonder if he knows that his bro is home and just wants to play with him thus refusing to nap. Anyways hoping he'll go down easily this afternoon cos I have to go pick up some groceries and some other things at Target this afternoon before fetching DS from school. DS also decided to randomly wake up MOTN asking for water. My folks arrived at my sister's this weekend and looks like my sister is sending them over next Sunday. DS will be so happy to see them. I wonder how lil fella is going to react when he sees them, They've been gone for much longer than expected. I am going to enjoy the peace and quiet before they return.

August Blooms, good luck house hunting. Do you have a time frame of when you need to move or you have the time to find the right place. It can be stressful but exciting at the same time. curmudgeon, they're wee, he could've wiped their feet no? hope you don't have W2W carpet and they don't jump on the furniture.

I think he’d refuse to go if I asked him to wipe their feet. 😂 luckily no carpet! And they get gated to our entry way so no furniture either. Just a quick wet swiffer should do the job tonight.

I've been meaning to ask...is anyone else's O17er the drooliest little thing? DS's shirts constantly stay wet around the neck and end up smelling sour from the drool. He's totally over teething bibs, but I was able to sneak a bandana bib on him for a short while yesterday. He's been like this since about 6 months or so, but it's gotten even worse lately. DD was never a drooler so this is new for me.

duskymonkey We want to move before DD1 starts school next year. We are in a buyers market so we are waiting until March to list since we are likely to have more options on the market and should be able to get a good price for ours.. We live in a HCOL area and want to get close to our jobs so we are trying to identify those pockets that are still reasonably priced and good for young families which is proving to be a huge challenge. We are going to a birthday dinner in the area in October so we’re going to go early and drive around to check out the amenities without the kids.

We’re going through a biting while nursing stage over here with LO. Ooooowie. DS1 did it to, but not for as long. I hope this passes soon, because I am not a fan.

He got 6 teeth all around 4-5 months, took a short break, and then just became drooly. I can't even feel any teeth coming in anywhere.
