Nothing exciting here. Ds2 is down for his nap and I’m on coffee #2. I had to let Ds2 cio last night and he finally gave in after 30min of scream-crying.
I have lots of laundry to do and eventually a grocery trip to make.

Ds2 slept even worse last night than the night before. I'm going to try to nurse him more today and give him more real food. Ds1 randomly woke up crying too so the theme really was no one gets to sleep.
We have the wedding tonight. There's been so much family drama around it. I'm so ready for it to be over. Like a lot of people aren't holding their breath that the couple will stay together. I called someone out on it and just said they are adults and make their own decisions. Let's not talk shit on the couple the night before the wedding mmmk? (Even though I'm annoyed my kids weren't invited)
On a positive note, the last time my grandma was around ds2 she didn't want to hold him. She's got health issues and is older. But this time she wanted to hold him and play with him. Oh my heart. It was so so sweet. Ds1 had a great time playing with her too. Family is so important to me and I'm glad that my kids are getting to spend time with their only great grandparent on my side.
Anyway, here's to hoping that ds2 gets his shit together today. Time for more coffee.

E was up at 10, 2, and 3. He finally went back to sleep in my arms at 4:30. So basically I have been up since 2.
Today feels like fall. It’s sunny but cool. Makes me want to put out some fall decorations.
I’m cleaning today. I just cleaned not long ago but the house gets so dirty so quickly I can’t stand it. Especially with long haired cats and a 4 year old who leaves everything everywhere.

Both kids were in bed by 7:30 after a long day. Parents in bed by 8:30. But ds was up many times due to teething so I’m still exhausted. Company picnic today. roloma Go Hawkeyes!!!!! |

Good morning! Ds1 spent every tues/thurs with his cousins this summer so he really misses them since school started, even though it’s only been a week. So we are having a play date this morning! Grocery shopping, cleaning, and a run will happen this afternoon. It’s gorgeous out- 60s and sunny.

Another one having a cleaning day over here. Boring, but it's rainy. I have to go out and finish getting stuff for my friend's baby shower next weekend. She's the one who has gotten most of my hand me downs, so I'd like to get her a few new things too. Sorry for the crappy sleep grumpycat and ldubhawksfan! I hope tonight is better for you. |

Good morning! I'm at work. I have the 90s Sirius station on, and 98 Degrees just came on. I still know all the words to "The Hardest Thing" so if nothing else, I have that going for me. Today is pretty chill. I have to go to the bank on my lunch break, but it happens to be next to Whole Foods, so I may need to pick up something for lunch while I'm there. And wine for later. We are running dangerously low.  |

I really need to get my ass in gear. DS seems less and less interested in nursing these days, if he does wean early I’m thinking about signing up for Orange Theory Fitness and going early. I need a lifestyle overhaul. |

bazi, which workout class did you do? I signed up for my first OT class but it isn't until Sept 24th- LOL. I wanted to do it when I had a day off and could get there early and figure things out.

I need a lifestyle overhaul. Nothing crazy. It's "dressy casual" so I picked a navy, sparkly cocktail dress with a fun shoe. I got the dress for free and I've had the shoes for several years. Lol. It’s the Fit 4 Mom body back class. Kind of like Stroller Strides but sans baby and more intensity. I’m going to try and go weekly. There is an OTF opening close to my house soon. I think I will try it then, and see if I like it enough to get my ass out of bed at 530 every morning and go work out. |

bazi thatgolfb, my SIL loves Orange Theory. I'd try it, but it's like all the way downtown, so... That was actually my biggest issue. All the current studios are out of the way, especially on work days. But I found out they are opening one really close to work soon! Which may mean I go. I probably still wouldn't get a membership, but it would be a good change to my normal routine a couple times a month or something. |

Was it supposed to be a no kids wedding and the other mom just said F it and crashed with a baby? There are like 4 kids plus the baby here. The bride told me they couldn't include my 3.5 year old and baby. I'm calming down, but I was legitimately upset for awhile. It hurts my feelings. We are family not friends. The couple's daughter is the same age as ds1. Eta supposedly the guest brought their baby even though they werent supposed to. 🤷 But there were other kids present that were invited. Idk. |

I couldn’t fall asleep last night, finally do around 2am. Of course ds2 woke up right after I fell asleep and DS1 was up at his usual 630. Lots of coffee today and a nap later are on the agenda.

Ds2 was up from 11-330, and again at 6. I slept sitting up for most of the night while holding and/or nursing the baby. Dh walked him in the stroller for about an hour. I'm so ready to be back home. bazi I completely blanked on taking a pic of my outfit. The official photographer took a few pics of us but I'll snap a pic when I'm unpacking tonight. I think I looked quite nice for not spending a dime on an outfit ha ha. |

Dd woke with labored breathing so at 1 am dh took her to the er. It was really scary. Croup. She had it when she was 13 mo but it was scarier this time with her being able to tell us her chest hurt. Ds woke several times while they were gone so none of us got a good nights rest.

Sorry for the crappy night's sleep grumpycat, and the extra crappy night ldubhawksfan, I hope she gets well soon! We've had two weird nights in a row where DD wakes up at 430 or 5. Yesterday I fed her and got her back down until after 7. So last night she went to bed back at regular time of 7ish, but was still up early today and this time she had a big poop, so I had to change her then feed her and then she slept in until 730 🤷 so our schedule is all over the place. |

blabbermouth, E wakes up around 4:30 most days when my H gets up for work, and I’ll ignore her for a bit. 90% of the time, she goes back to sleep until I get her up at 6-6:30.
