Carters stuff this season actually looks really cute. I need to go get Liv some clothes for our vacation anyway. We're in a weird place between 9mo and 12mo. 9mo is too small or just right but 12mo is just big. The 6-12 boden stuff is a little big. I'm not used to such a peanut! I also scored this.. And when it came to me in the mail I was second thinking. Thoughts? It's personally not my style but not horrible. +1

We’re just outgrowing 0-3 months here. I’m having a difficult time finding lightweight 6 month sleepers. It’s not consistently cold enough to wear fleece yet. The baby got his haircut yesterday and looks so grown it’s making me sad. Gap sleepers are pretty lightweight...DS has been sleeping in those all summer! I found some Gerber ones on Amazon as well when I searched lightweight sleepers that were great.

sunfrogger I think they would be cute separated into different outfits. I don’t love the stripe with the romper but I could see a solid color being super cute.

I feel like a really bad mom.
Today has been rough for O. she’s been really upset and fussy all day. Took forever to get down for a decent nap and that was on me. (1hr 45). Her cries finally got thru to me and I realized I guess that she felt like something was really hurting her. For all the times I am Tylenol happy I didn’t give her any Tylenol at all until 10 min ago. Now she’s fast asleep in my arms.
No red flags went up though. Poop, fine, green but she’s got a cold. Suctioned her nose. Plenty of fluids. No temp. I just feel so rookie and I feel terrible I let her carry on all day trying to tell me she was hurting somehow and her crying just frustrated me all day.

DS is getting 4 teeth at once and has a terrible cold that came on so fast overnight, I feel so bad for him. His nose is sooo stuffy and his temp has been about 100.9 all day even with Tylenol.
Besides a humidifier and the Nose Frida, is there anything else to do for him? It's so pitiful 😭

sunfrogger I agree with others. I like the two pieces individually but not together but it may be cute on! I would do a white long sleeved onesie under and see what that looks like! jessijean yes we went through this in April and I was really stressed about it. DD1 adjusted pretty quickly though and for only the first week talked about her old friends. We did a play date with her “boyfriend” from her old school like a month after we moved to the full time center and she regressed a lot but now that we are a few months out she’s taking a gymnastics class with him and there are no issues after. I feel like changing now is better than later because DD1 has like 3 best friends now and I think if we changed her like a year down the road she would have a much harder time. Kids are resilient - I think we get more worked up and stressed than them and I’m sure it will all work out fine and he will make new friends in no time.

If it came on super quick make sure it’s not croup. If he starts to sound like a seal coughing it’s most likely croup. Cold air outside may help it but I know with DS1 we end up needing steroids to clear it up.

sunfrogger could she be constipated? H gets that ways when it’s been a few days since he went. We’ve really struggled with it since he started solids.

She did poop this afternoon, MH changed it so I didn't see it, but it wasn't very solid or anything. It's green, so I know there's something a little off with her belly. I'll scale back on the solids I think other than very bland things like toast, teething wafers, etc. I was going to send her in with lunch this week, but I think I'll just keep with the 5oz bottles and go from there. :/

Hey!! I’m sorry, I haven’t even caught up on this thread at all. We went away a few weekends ago and things have just been non stop since lol..I haven’t been checking in well at ALL. My oldest started Kindergarten last week, my middle starts preschool in a couple weeks, and N got her first tooth this weekend!!! She’s crawling and cruising on foot (via furniture) everywhere!! 3 busy growing up kids ❤️😭☺️ Thanks for checking in!! Things are definitely well..in fact my mental health/anxiety has proved immensely in the last month. It feels really good. I’ll make a point to check in more often again, I think of a lot of you and your babies often and hope all is well!!

I always find soup or pasta easy family meals to have with babies because everything in them gets so soft and they can eat a lot of it!! We didn’t really do purées, so we’re kind of at the point where she’s eating a little bit of anything we are now. Good luck pinkcat and anyone transitioning!!
