Hi! There is not much going on around here, but hopefully it picks up soon!
Anyone having any symptoms yet?
I am just running to the bathroom a lot. Nothing else yet, though I am sure the nausea will hit in full force soon. It still does not seem real at all.
I need to get a crown for a cracked tooth next week, and I need to call to make sure it is still ok while pregnant. Google says yes, but I want to check with the doctor to be sure.

Hi. I’m 4w1d and the only thing I’m feeling is the need to sleep 24/7. Ive also been a little breathless which google tells me is due to progesterone. I don’t remember it with my first.
Last pregnancy the nausea switch turned on right at 6 weeks and I’m not looking forward to it but I’ve alrwady got my B6 and unisom ready.

I'm 5 weeks 3 days and so far no real symptoms. It's nice but I wish I had a few more to reassure me! I hope it starts picking up in here soon! I'm so ready to discuss names and announcements and all that fun stuff. elephantastic, I hope you get lucky this time and don't get too sick at 6 weeks!

We are likely getting hit by some of this hurricane, not directly, but a lot of rain. I am worried we will lose power for a while, and not have AC. We have tons of snack food though.

Make sure you’ve got your freezer packed with ice and extra water. I live in Florida so I’m like a hurricane professional. Stay safe!

The predictions have veered pretty far south, so we are looking safe with just some rain now.

I have not told anyone IRL, other than DH, so I am just going to babble here. DH sprayed some stuff to deter ants on our first floor this morning. I walked down and almost threw up. I guess the morning sickness is here, along with a sensitive nose. It was making me nervous that I had no symptoms, but of course the symptoms are no fun now that they are here. I am 6 weeks as of yesterday, so I am right on time I guess

I’m redoing our pantry so I’m in wallpaper scraping hell 😭😬 Starting a weekly thread on Monday sounds great! Wallpaper scraping sounds so awful. I hope it goes quick, and the final result is awesome! Even though we did not get hit at all by the hurricane, everything closed down in prep for it. All the museums and other indoor activities are having to clean up from the prep so everything is closed. And it is raining, so no outdoor activities, so we are trying to keep 2 kids entertained at home all day. We did buy a bunch of activities from the dollar store when we thought we were going to get hit, so that is helping some.

At least with my DD when I hit 14 weeks exactly I felt really good again, so I have my fingers crossed for the same scenario.

I'm kind of scared to see how I feel over the next couple weeks. I'm only six weeks today but I've been having mild nausea since before my BFP and it seems to be getting worse over the last few days.
And yes to starting a weekly thread on Monday!
I have my first ultrasound on Monday so hopefully I'll be back with a good update!

Hopefully the nausea does not get too bad, or you can find something to help. That is awesome you have your first ultrasound on Monday! I could not get in for my first appointment till 10 weeks, so 4 more weeks.

So far my symptoms are... Swollen feet (Already?), and breaking into tears at the drop of a hat. It's been grand, lol. I didn't have many symptoms last time, besides and aversion to all food, so I've got my fx things go the same way.

I'm waking up at 2 and 5 to pee now, and I'm just awake and can't sleep after 5. And yesterday we went to town for DS's dentist and 18 month appointment, I blabbed it to everyone we saw. Except my mom, who I went with, because I'm saving it until her birthday in a week but I think she's suspicious because my eating/drinking habits are off, and I almost started crying at some point.

It looks like November 9th is start of second tri for me.
I am actually going on a work trip where I will get to see my parents in a few weeks, so I will tell them then.
I will tell my bosses at the start of second tri.
I guess we will tell his mom when i hit second tri, and she will immediately want to tell the world of facebook and everyone else, ugh.
I think we will likely add something in on our Christmas card.
I am less excited about announcing #3, I don't know if it is dumb, but I feel like people will judge us.

I feel like my constant feeling awful is going to give me away to a few people.
I literally have a jar of peanut butter on my desk right now, that I just spoon PB from to help nausea. And I go to lunch with people every so often, and my eating habits have definitely changed.

We'll do something for Thanksgiving I think, as I start 2nd tri around that time. I want to have family pictures taken anyways, so we'll do a little photo shoot and just add in a couple pictures of a similar announcement to DS.
I'm feeling so tired. And just... crazy emotional. Crying all the time, which is making it difficult to hide things from our very close family. And I feel like a bad parent already. DS is a pretty cranky/fussy/difficult guy, and he can be pretty hard normally, now it's a lot harder and seems like I'm failing more than normal. I don't remember being this emotional last time.

My H, 3 close friends and my HIH people know. We have an annual Halloween party every year and 4 years ago when we were pregnant with our first we announced at our Halloween party with fun costumes. We will probably do the same this year- I’ll be 10.5 weeks.
We probably won’t put anything on Facebook for awhile. We are doing our annual fall photos the last weekend of November for Christmas cards and I’ll probably have the photographer do some sort of pregnancy announcement shot- with a sign or something. We will use one of those on our Christmas cards and maybe put that on FB.

courtniko I’m less exited to announcing too. But simultaneously not worried. Depends on the minute ? I have a 12 month old. So I know people are going to be was it a surprise!?!?! Uh no it was intentional, imagine that. And telling work. I started a new job August. I’ll be away on a 3 day conference when I hit the 2nd tri So after that. Gotta get through that. People will always find a way to comment. E will be just turning 4 when this one comes and we planned it exactly this way and lots of people have already commented to me (theoretically) that the age gap will be too much and they won’t be close. Gtfo.

I have to get a permenant crown put in tody (had a temp put in a few weeks ago. And all the drilling and such done then). Currently brushing my teeth for even 2 minutes makes me gag, and almost throw up. I have no idea how I am going to get through this. Stupid "morning" sickness.

I ate so much better with DD I’m feeling guilty. It’s a lot harder now than it was then. I started out feeling good, and eating well. Then all day MS hit hard, and carbs, and smoothies are the only things that don't make me gag thinking about it. I am going to gain a ton of weight, and my clothes are already getting tight. I am already overweight, so I don't have the room to gain. Hopefully the MS calms down after 12 or 14 weeks like it did with my first.
