No I haven't but wow that brings back memories of me sitting by my radio with my finger on the record button to record my fave songs off b96.
Wish it was closer and I had a babysitter!

Do your schools use Minecraft education edition?
ETA: our department of education licences the office education suite for schools to use which now includes minecraft for education, so schools are using it for learning now.

We’ve started buying some LEGO sets but they aren’t expensive ones. Just smaller ones from Target. We enjoy them for what they are and they like picking them out. DS1 especially likes to try to build them correctly and MH enjoys helping him out with it. They normally stay “as is” for a few days because DS1 wants to keep it that way and then they eventually get broken up and the pieces get mixed up with the regular legos. I did buy a container to sort legos by color so when they free build it’s easier to find what they are looking for. We save the instruction manuals for the sets in case they want to try to build it again. It’s worked fine. My boys love free building with the legos and it keeps them entertained.

Agreed. My kid is 2 and doesn't have the skill for legos. We sat and built mega blocks for like an hour last night, I like them. When I was a kid, my brother and I loved Giga Blocks which were like the actual size of a real brick. Quoting myself because omg, I just tried to google Giga Blocks to see if they still make them. Apparently now a giga block is a giant frozen brick of squid. WTFFFF Lol. That's bc they're called Giga Bricks. Yeah I'm 9 hours late what of it?

I cried at a pool the other day when I saw a new baby. Actual tears had to go sit in a bathroom stall til I calmed down cried. I cried in a Panera because this lady lost her son. I was helping her search for him, he was by their car. She ran over and screamed at him. He was screaming right back at her and being a total shit but i'm pregnant with my first kid (boy) and I started sobbing while trying to order a bowl of soup because she found him.

So do ya'll keep the boxes the pieces come in so that you know which pieces are for what sets? Do they stay built and you display them? DO ALL OF THE PIECES GO IN ONE BIG BIN? DS will build the set and it will stay displayed in his room for a bit. When he's ready to take it apart we have those rubbermaid drawers and they all get sorted by color. And he free-builds A LOT. So....this works for us 🤷♀️

swansonI yell “I’m vacuuming so you’d better pick up all Legos off the floor before I go in your room because I don’t care if I suck some up!”
75% of the time the kids pick it up. H does the other times because he can’t bear to lose a lego lol This happens at least a few times a week in the chicken household. Every once in a while I'll get on and hear it clinking around in the canister. Cue me caaaaarefully opening it and digging through dog hair to find said Lego. Because.....I really do care apparently 🤣

Are you guys not tucking your tampon strings in? Or maybe its a confession that on the rare occasion that I wear a tampon (I am 95% of the time using a diva cup) I tuck my string so I don't pee on it? Maybe it's a confession that I've never in my life heard of tucking a tampon string in?? Nope, never. But I'm team menstrual cup now as well....but...yea.
