MH is the absolute worst at directions (which is why I was so anxious about his detoured commute yesterday). He got lost yesterday, called me, and couldn’t explain where he was. So I helped him find the most simple direct route for this morning, and he still got lost. So it was a tense morning, and of course when he left and I went to enjoy my coffee, solo, Charlie woke up. It can only go up from here.

Morning! Dd is extremely congested, poor thing, so she was in our bed last night, waking up every 20-40 minutes, joy! My back is killing me and I’m counting the hours till the weekend starts!

Morning! E is officially 3 months old today. I feel a little bad about going back to work earlier with her then I did with LO. He was over 3 months when I went back to work. But I know it’s best because I can take all her first Holidays off.

Happy Friday ladies! And it's payday, which means I need to schedule all our bill payments, so I'll be broke by noon.
I have been having pretty bad sciatic pain. I googled some exercises last night, but they look...difficult. I am not flexible. H keeps telling me to go see a chiropractor. Does anyone know of anything that helps before I get that desperate?

mwhip Ugh, sciatic pain is the worst. I had it during pregnancy, PT helped mine. My mom has had a couple bad attacks where she was literally confined to the couch for weeks. I remember her doctor had her on an anti-inflammatory and I think cold packs. I'm not typically a huge chiro proponent but might be worth trying?

I went to C's school orientation yesterday and came home to all the kids in bed. So, I overindulged a tad in the wine. Just trying to get through the work day, trying to decide what to have for lunch. Do I order something? Just go to the cafeteria? Hmm..

mwhip for me ‘walking it out’, cycling and warm baths can help. Whatever you do, don’t lie or sit down for long, for me it only gets worse if I do that. ETA plus I’m sorry, sciatic pains hurt so much!

Morning!
After I run B to school I have to take the dog to the vet for her canine influence vax and to pick up more of her flea/tick/heartworm preventative. They told me I could just walk in, I'm hoping it will be fast so I'll still have some time to myself. I would like to hit Michaels to get some brushes to start my chalk painting project (Lord help me).

flamingo I really don't want to have to do PT, it's so freaking expensive. nam2013 I'm going to go to the gym today to see if running helps or make it worse. I agree, sitting or laying still for long periods does not help. Laying flat in bed is painful. If the gym doesn't help today, I'll probably cave and go see H's chiro. And I finally heard from our neighbor this morning. She said she knew she had been depressed for awhile, but two different doctors told her she was fine. Because she had two tell her she was fine, she refused to go to anyone else and her BF didn't know what else to do and called the hospital. I told her I was sorry she was struggling, it should be so hard to get help when you are reaching out for it. Said if she needed anything, to please let us know. And that if it ever stops raining, I was going to mow her yard for her (she hasn't mowed in 3 weeks and it kills me everytime I look at it). So hopefully she can get the help she needs now.

Morning.
Last night was rough and I went to bed feeling so overwhelmed. I have today off and was hoping to clean the carpets and then take the rest of the day to myself, but there is just too much to do. I have so much stuff to clean, clear out, declutter. It’s truly never ending and anxiety inducing.
Sorry for the DD.
In other more positive news, my 30th Birthday is in less than a month and as of this past week, I’ve started to treat myself and will continue to do so until I turn 30. I placed a few online orders last week and they have started to come in. I love when I get packages that are for me!! At some point today I hope to get a pedicure and a massage if I can get a few things accomplished on the home front.

lahdeedah I know what you mean, there always seems to be something that needs doing. Good for you for treating yourself the past few weeks and I hope you get some downtime today!

Morning! S had a physical for school yesterday at our local pediatrician. Then we went straight from there to STL. Stayed at my parents last night, today S has a follow up at the hospital with ENT from her tonsillectomy. Then right after that her yearly check up with her Neurosurgeon.
After appts my mom and I are going to eat at one of my favorite places, Olga’s Kitchen! Then going to visit my sister and her kids after school gets out so I can give my twin nieces their birthday presents. Then we will make the trek home because I have to work tomorrow.

mwhip I think chiropractors often provide really great noninvasive treatment for a lot of different ailments. I would definitely try that and/or PT before I went any other route. I hope you find something that works asap!!

Morning! Wfh and have all the windows open. It’s a beautiful, crisp morning..The best.
I’m really getting excited about our basement. We’re in the final stages of picking things out and the work should all happen next month and hopefully will be done early November! Dh stalled so much this spring and things were going so slowly, and now it’s all going to come together quickly. It will be great to have that space in the winter when we’re confined to the house

Hi!! Gunner walked happily into preschool for the first time EVER! (I don't count the first/only other time because we hugely bribed him that day.) I'm so glad!!!! Yesterday his teacher told him he couldn't pass out napkins tomorrow unless he walked in... so I guess he really wanted to pass out napkins, lol.
One of my best friends is staying about 30 minutes away for her BF's baseball tournament. So we are planning to go stay overnight with them tonight in their rental house tonight! Should be super fun!

mamabear I think I would leave it. The day after a holiday doesn’t sound ideal, people want to clean&clear, sleep in or people might visit family and stay over and therefore aren’t able to attend a day after a holiday etc.
