I got my brows microbladed in October. . Follow up in December and a third touch up in March since the color wasn’t keeping.
I’m basically a microblading failure. I hate them and wish I hadn’t spent the money and ruined my face.
Any suggestions for how to help them fade? Typical fade is 1-3 years.. which is a LONG time. I also am probably not willing to do the microblading with saline type solution that’s supposed to help it dissolve since I have no trust in the process.

Are they faded evenly or is it blotchy and that's the issue? I'm sorry. I know it's not the same thing at all, but I have a humongous tattoo that came out like shit on my chest and I can relate to feeling like I ruined my body. I'm getting mine lasered, but you probably don't want to go there for your face. I'm not sure it even works the same with removal.
Do they look that bad to you? Does make up fix anything?

Yogurt makeup helps. They look fine in the morning. But as the day goes by... the makeup starts to disappear. Which is why I tried microblading in the first place! 🤣 They don’t look microbladed - all the pigment is just one big blur and looks like a shadow - and it’s faded to a color that is definitely not my brow color.

Mine were a failure too. And I went to see 2 other people and they both basically told me I would probably have the same result because it is how my skin processes the pigment.
I might try exfoliating that area.

What’s your skin type? My girl was specific about the fact that oily skin does not take microblading well and that it works exponentially better on dry skin.

No tips for the microblading, but what are you filling your brows in with? There might be something longer lasting that’ll last all day for you.

Ive been microblading for about 3 years now and I love my results. I get a touch up every 9-12 months depending on how faded they are. The last time I got them done they were very faded after only 4 months. I called my girl and she fixed them. She used a machine and they’re perfect again. Do you wear sunscreen? Exposure to the sun makes them fade faster.

If you want to fade them out faster you can scrub them with a wash cloth with a salicylic acid face wash every time you you shower or wash your face and then afterwards follow up with a glycolic acid toner like Pixi Glow Tonic. That will help speed up the process over time.
