I checked like three times to make sure it was not Friday. Longest 4 day week ever.
DS1 woke up at 4am. š« but at least I get to have a cup of coffee and visit with him before I leave for work at 6.
Itās so close to the weekend! So close.

Holy crap its Thursday! Suddenly I have so much to do.
My mom and aunt are coming out here on Saturday morning and I have a 3 things I wanted to accomplish on the house before they get here and guess what... I've done 0 of them. Gah!
Also I have a much needed chiro appt today as well as a date with the state inspection place now that my windshield is replaced. Guess it's a busy day here!

I donāt know if itās allergies or a cold or what but I cannot breathe and my head is all stuffy. All this rain must have stirred something up.
I want to come up with something to do this weekend with DS1. Maybe just going to a park to play. Itās so hot though

Why will my baby not sleep??!!! He keeps waking up so early DD2 is up at 5:00am on the dot. I could feed her at 4am and sheās up. I can feed her at 11pm and sheās up. She can sleep all night and sheās up at 5. I vaguely recall DD1 might have been like this and it not getting better till we dropped to one nap and also weaned. Just commiseration here. š“

Walks around all morning and feels super comfy.
Goes to pick up students from music class at 11:30 and looks down:: see flip-flops.
Yep. Iāve been wearing flip flops all morning here.
Totally against teacher dress code (my principal laughed when I confessed) but that should about sum up how hectic the morning was here. Staying late to work tonight so I might avoid coming in this weekend.

So we had our follow up with the ped for DD1 and it looks like she is celiac. Heās referring us to the childrenās hospital GI for further testing. Ugh, I have so much Mom guilt over this even though I know itās not my fault but I did have a gut feeling (no pun intended) about it.

I'm glad you have a diagnosis and she can start to feel better now. Thankfully celiac disease is so much more understood these days and shes in great hands!

We had a meet and greet party with DS1's preschool class. He had a blast, and I really liked the other parents that i talked to. I'm excited that it seems like a good fit. It's a co-op, so it actually is important for it to fit for everyone.

cythe Yes, Iām already GF because I have problems but have never been diagnosed so the what to do on a day to day is totally manageable to me and the hospital we will be going to is world class. But Iām still like my kid now has a lifelong health condition that she will have to manage.

@augustooms Iām so sorry about the celiac diagnosis for your baby ā¹ļø. I hope the doctors give you helpful guidance/dietary instruction on how to mitigate it as much as possible.

thechickencoop how is baby doing? Hoping he's doing better Also I am here in the US. Here's some more info about RF tethering and looks like only a handful of carseat manufacturers allows tethering linkAlso check the seat manual and also car. Just because the link above tells you that you can tether doesn't mean that you can - the car seat lady says that Volvos are allowed to RF tether but directly speaking with them, they do not allow it which is why there isn't any info for it in the car manual.

August Blooms, ugh..dietary restrrictions are so tough. Good thing these days the options are so much better. A lot of asian diet is gluten free. I am intolerant to wheat but I have little self restraint. I did manage to restrict my diet for a year and felt the healthiest.

I started eating GF almost 6 years ago and the products out there and the recipes online have come such a long way. I feel bad for my daughter but itās definitely not feeling so overwhelming since I already have a really good idea of what she can/cannot eat.
