First day at work yesterday was great! Super busy. DH had a good day with both kids and I came home to a tidy house, all normal chores done and then he made pancakes and eggs for dinner 👍
But...DS has now been up since 5 am. It is currently 6:20. I am running on the elliptical and trying to ignore the fact that he is awake and should most definitely not be

Oh yay for a great first day!
We're off to the pedi here. DS2 is still miserable, still has a fever. I guess I want to be sure it's not an ear infection or something. 🙄
But DS1 had an awesome first day of first grade yesterday, I hope he likes it as much today too LOL.

thechickencoop jealous of your pedi. I need one badly! Here are a couple of photos from baby’s first birthday shoot. It was tough to get her to smile. Also when will my bald baby have appreciable amounts of hair? I was promised cute baby girl hair to style. Waaaah.

I have a FB friend who sells Plexus. Fine (annoying but fine).
Usually it's just the typical annoyingness of her using her kids to try and get you to buy her stuff but last month she was close to a cruise and after spamming FB and messenger, I guess she didn't make it.
So now in a fun twist of fate, all her posts are backhanded guilt trips about how she was *this close*. Ugh.

If it's not one thing, it's another. Since June, we've replaced the air conditioning in one car (went out just over halfway through our 13 hour drive to visit my family), the battery in the other (the car stopped starting right after we loaded it up for our camping trip), and now the first car isn't starting. Just in time for preschool to be starting and me to actually need a car.

cythe, i love my friends, but i hate when they sell things. It really isn't up to me to give you a vacation. If you owned a legit business, you shouldn't shame me for you not getting a cruise.

I just realized I haven’t take a pic of her in over a week... I did not have this problem with DD1, so many pictures. DD1 moved up a room at daycare. Her BFF did not move up with her yet which is good because she will have to play with some other kids.

I guess now that our kids are older though they are likely to put heir mouth in something, like a cup, that another kid also had their mouth on.

Feeling a bit like I’m drowning. H has taken on more b-ball duties as the head coach is injured so not only are we still in the throes of new school year busy but now it’s a lot more solo parenting stuff too. I got a call at noon today that DD1 has soccer tonight at 6. So we’ll just add that to our schedule too... just trying to stay afloat right now 😳😬😑 Hanging out in the car cart at the store. These aren’t quite the monstrosity of the old carts. 😂

Waiting for our neighbors to poke their head out so we can get in their pool!! (We discussed with them earlier that we would take them up on their offer after nap)

Guys I have a medical question - not super medical but yeah. Any idea how to treat this skin rash thingie? Its scaly and has been there for 1.5 weeks? I've tried coconut oil, cortisone cream and eczema cream but nothing really does the trick.*oh and aquaphor one night but I didn't stick with it. I dont think it bothers her but i dont want it to be something that can spread. **standard I know no one is a doctor, ect. I just have feels about a sick baby visit for a small rash**

Hi! I’m sad I can’t get on as much as I used to, but I try to come around on Wednesday’s to see all the cute babies.
Here’s my contribution. Sunny days and trying to escape H.

cythe try aquaphor? That usually does the trick for me.

cythe, a gentle unscented lotion twice a day. Lubriderm and CeraVe are favorites here. If that doesn't clear it up after 2-3 days, some over the counter hydrocortisone cream should zap it right off.

cythe Late on this one, but is it hot where you are? It looks like the heat rash that LO gets - especially since it is in a skin fold area. For us, baby powder on the area really helps clear it up. Also, making sure baths are not too hot and just trying to avoid getting LO too hot. Maybe it’s not that, but just my two cents. Oh, and acquaphor baby works well for heat rash - we put it on after the bath at night. Good luck with that!

cythe, supremo late but I'll second Aquaphor or even Eucerin ( same company manufactures them - Biersdorf )and agree with Taitai that it could be heat rash and chafing. Let us know if it lets up
