My baby is going to be Boss Baby. Because he looks like him. He's going to wear a tiny suit? So cute!

Cute! Will you be a giant jelly bean too? I'm afraid I'll have to be They like to watch Blippi on Youtube and that's where she got the idea from. Maybe you could be like a whole bag of jelly beans.

E is growing like a weed and out of all of her summer clothes at just the wrong time. It will be too hot to wear pants for another 3-4 weeks here. Today she is wearing a dress that was down past her knees in June and now her diaper cover is showing. I refuse to buy summer clothes in September, so she’s just going to look silly for the next month.

I have a banana costume I like to wear every couple years, so my DS will be forced to be a monkey this Halloween and maaaaybe MH can be that guy from Curious George.

I’m supposed to be packing for our weekend getaway trip, but it all seems daunting. I have a hard time dressing this time a year, since it’s chilly in the AM and heats up quickly. And we’ll be in the mountains, so 72 there isn’t the same as 72 here.

Wednesdays are always busy, plus it's my first day back in the office after the 1st, so that adds even more work. Thank god for coffee.

I'm going to search the costume rack at the consignment store and go from there. I don't think I have it in me to make costumes for either kid this year.

I was Little Red Riding Hood when I was two and my mom saved the costume. DD will wear it and my boys have agreed to be a lumber Jack and a wolf. I might dress as granny and H will be the wolf dressed as granny. The boys are pretty excited, they've already come up with several other family costume ideas.

DH: Did you know they can remove body hair with lasers? Me: I only dream about it everyday. DH: Really? If it's something you actually want we can look into it. Me: [eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!]

I want the baby to be Cookie Monster. The 3 year old has just sort of figured out what Halloween is and when I gave “pumpkin” as an example of a costume he jumped on it. We’ll see if it sticks.

Does anyone else's refrigerator seemingly go from full of stuff to bare bones in a matter of hours? Yes, there is only full or empty, never in between. Kinda like my belly😂😂

I've been trying to come up with costume ideas too. We've done Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of OZ, Frozen, Little Red Riding Hood. The last few years the youngest has been the side kick (Olaf, The Wolf) and I don't think she will go for it again.

I got a speeding ticket via mail. I’m v skeptical That seems...scammy. I know you can get red light camera tickets in the mail. But I've never heard of speeding tickets. We used to have red light camera tickets but the city decided they unfair/against some code. They all got tossed. The speeding ticket sounds sketchy, aren't they supposed to show you the radar? Myth?

A mom just replied all (100+ parents) to a teacher email. Fuck, don't let this be happening today. Why don’t teachers bcc? Ours don't usually, I like it it as an easy reference for other parent email addresses. But I'm not "reply all"

The bigger ones are starting to want to branch out, which is fine. They picked the idea this year, but it took a lot of time to agree on something. Luckily, I've still got a few more years of dressing up the baby however I want.

I mean, I've only done my armpits, but I love not having to shave. And I bought a Groupon for 6 sessions for $100 at a really nice place. My pale skinned and very dark haired self is extremely excited.

I love, love, love themed Halloween costumes for the kids. Mine are not on board, unfortunately. I can dream, though.

piratecat when my toddler was that age I just put him in skeleton pjs. H would not have done well with a hat or mask. This year I found the baby an astronaut suit at a consignment sale and I think the 3y old is going to wear his fire chief dress up set.

SD wants to do Star Wars something for the third Halloween in a row, but she’s upset at the lack of female character options. So we talked about getting a Darth Vader costume and putting a black tutu over it for giggles.

I have no energy for Halloween costumes. DS is going to be a red dino charge power ranger. $30 on amazon. Good enough for me
