E woke before 6 this morning and just took a 45 minute first nap. So, that's where I'm at. We just can't win with sleep.

cythe I hope you get your mortgage stuff figured out. It all sound so stressful! doodlemommy Good luck on your first day back! thechickencoop I hope your LO is feeling better today! It’s still stinking hot today, I’m debating on taking the kids to a flyby of a local school. I’m not sure if the kids will love or hate the noise. Baby has her two bottom teeth poking through, she’s miserable so I’m hoping they make it through soon.

In case you're a mombie today - as I am - and words are too complicated, here is a picture to sum up my day.

Hi. I have zero motivation to do anything today. My whole crew had a vacation hangover this morning. Someone should have cancelled today, too.
Some unheard of fortune hit our house over the weekend and both of my kids slept until 9am for 3 days straight. This morning, I had to wake DS up to leave for work. Waking a sleeping baby should be a sin.

I'm stranded at home today. DH had to take my car because he let his registration expire. I'm also not speaking to him because when he was sleeping in on Monday i got up with both kids and was following our normal screen time rules and he complained that i didn't keep DS1 quiet enough. When i sleep in, he gets up with only DS1, DS2 waking up automatically means I'm up, and they go watch tv until i get up and declare it breakfast time.

I tried to send my students to their normal Monday special’s class and they were more than delighted to correct me. I’m most certainly Mondaying over here.
DD2 woke up as soon as I hopped in the shower so H and her were all cuddled up and back asleep when I got out. It was super sweet and I didn’t want to wake them but we had to get moving at that point. It’s supposed to be hot today so I’m guessing the girls and I will play inside after work but H needs to mow since we were gone all weekend.

I swear he'll sleep longer if it weren't for poops. This baby poops 3x a day and you guessed it...all during his sleep and nap times. FML. SaveSave

Well I just got off line chatting with a Volvo CS about tethering a RF car seat and how it would react to WHIPS. I didn't do it for DS - I read through the whole manual and it didn't mention it and Diono said it would depend on the car manufacturer. However I noticed loops on the seat rails which got me questioning RF tethering so I just decided to contact them directly. They said they;ll be emailing me more specific info but they said no RF tethering for North America. Makes me feel a bit better since we didn't do it for DS. Also I discovered I can scroll through my phone with a band aid. Who knew that? I didn't. Also having my thumb sliced sucks...I have to wear gloves for everything - hate gloves. plus opening a stupid bandaid is difficult too.

Allergies are terrible right now - please spam with with what you BF moms take. I’m all sniffly and my head is pounding. Dinner was PB&Js, fruit, and yogurt for everyone. Letting DD2 lay on me and play till bedtime.

thechickencoop, RF tethering prevents rebound during impact. It is also dependent on seat and car manufacturer. Some seats I imagine even if RF tether is recommended/allowed may not be compatible with different cars. WHIPS is Volvo's system of lessening whiplash injury during impact. For some reason due to safety parameters, car seats designed for the US aren't compatible with Volvos RF tethering system. Anyways if your car seat allows for RF tethering and is compatible with your vehicle you should do it for extra safety.

I believe most carseats here in the US do not tether RF. At least all the ones we've had say to not use it RF 🤷♀️
