Our box had one long sleeve and one short sleeve onesie. I really loved the swaddle blanket, so cute!! I got the box as well (although a few months ago)n and there were two short sleeved onesies, but size 3-6 months so it should be fine - otherwise they will work for layering!

Got my amazon gift box today! I ended up getting a cute swaddle blanket, 2 onesies, two packs of sample wipes, 6 diapers, 2 travel size shampoos, 1 travel size lotion, a little pampers zip up bag, a Dr. Browns bottle, a pack of laundry detergent (one load), 4 disposable breast pads, and some coupons! I got mine on Tuesday and I got almost the same stuff, except I got an Avent bottle instead of the breast pads. Yay free baby stuff!

I think we got the same stuff! It’s cute, but we’re having winter babies! Where’s the long sleeves? 😁 What size were your onesies? Both of the ones I got are short sleeve but size 3-6 months which will likely fit baby until 6+mo if he/she is petite like my DD. Which will actually be perfect for the end of summer!

This morning I had the follow-up to my anatomy scan since she couldn't get all the images she needed due to his position last time. He's still laying upside down in there, but luckily she could see everything she needed to and all looked good!

strawberrykiki, you have to go through their checklist of registry suggestions, add something worth at least $10, and then buy it. I bought wipes that I needed anyway for my older kid.

I did it today! I’m waiting for my ordered item to ship so I can get my box! Also registering was overwhelming but I got the basics I think... 🤔 I am guessing I don’t really need to register for diapers or clothes? I’ve been told people will buy him lots of clothes because people love buying baby clothes.

strawberrykiki not sure yet if we'll have a shower, but I plan to register for the clothes we want (need), I.e. the right amount in various sizes, so hopefully people would choose from those.

strawberrykiki I got a ton of clothes from people, both shower gifts and hand-me-downs. I’d say don’t register for clothes and see what you get, then you can buy whatever else is needed. You won’t 100% know what sizes you’ll need for different seasons, so I think it’s worth waiting beyond the 0-3 size.

strawberrykiki that’s exciting! I probably wouldn’t register for clothes unless there’s something specific you really want. Diapers on the other hand would be something I’d throw on the registry for the 15% discount you get 60 days before your DD. That way if you don’t get all the sizes you need you can get them a little cheaper. Also, I’m not sure how long the 15% discount is valid but if Amazon lets still let’s you use it a couple months after LO is born you’ll likely know what brand of diapers/wipes/body-wash etc etc you prefer by then and can get that extra 15% off!

strawberrykiki I wouldn't register for any clothes, people go nuts. Keep all gift receipts, you can do some returns without receipt to Target and a few other stores I believe for store credit. Or exchange sizes, etc. to spread out the quantity. (Act fast if doing this because kids clothes are very seasonal and are switched out quickly, especially places like Carters). We were just inundated and there is no way one child could wear it all. Also wrong season, or just not my taste. I kept way more than I should have with first baby!

I also would not register for clothes. We got so, so many at our shower and right when the baby was born. For example, I had 18 size 6m sleepers! I was able to exchange some for other sizes. But so much ended up being the wrong season/size or not my style. Hang on to any receipts or try for store credit if you can. And then inventory what you get and add to that if theres other stuff you want or need. I found I still needed basics, like plain onesies, since those weren't as "cute" and fun for others to buy.

I finally pulled out all my maternity clothes this weekend and I should have done this weeks ago! I wore a pair of Old Navy Maternity for lack of a better description, coolat type shorts (loose, wide leg, almost look like a skirt) and they were so soft and comfortable. Even grocery shopping with my 5 yo in the 92 degree heat was tolerable!

Thanks for the advice ladies! I didn’t even think of putting diapers on there for the discount!
I have a weird pregnancy symptom I’m not sure if it’s normal or not. My chest hurts when I lay in certain positions. Sometimes it’s heartburn but sometimes it just hurts when I lay down and if I get up and stretch out it feels better. It hurts sometimes when I drive too like basically when my chest is a little squished if that makes any sense. I don’t know if it’s reflux being triggered by my position or what. I’m not short of breath and when it hurts it does feel like burning.

strawberrykiki I'm sorry, that sounds uncomfortable. Is it possible you're experiencing a little anxiety? I felt something like a mild anxiety attack this morning even though I wasn't worried about anything, just the heart pounding and out of breath feeling, but since I can't pinpoint any reason I would be anxious I wonder if it's related to acid reflux - apparently that can cause similar symptoms to an anxiety attack. I definitely get shortness of breath regularly since KU. Maybe an ulcer? Maybe the position of driving exacerbates it?

FYI there’s a 45% off + free shipping deal at gap.com. cch and others looking for good deals on maternity clothes. I’m going to buy a few T-shirts and leggings.

I legit thought I was having a heart attack but I’m also a hypochondriac and I have anxiety. I’m still not sure what it was, so I’m no help-sorry. My best guess is it was maybe a combination of anxiety (we were about to leave on vaca and I always get terrible travel anxiety) and maybe reflux and or constipation 🤷🏻♀️. I haven’t had it since. mine was in the upper left of my chest/shoulder. I’d say it’s good that it goes away when you change positions.
