1. How far are you now? 30+4 2. Symptom check: Sciatica Pain especially when I'm driving. I'm having trouble sleeping because the baby wakes me up kicking or my hip hurts. My feet keep swelling. 3. What and when is your next appointment? I have a regular OB appointment on Thursday 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I have birthing classes on Tuesday and Thursday. My baby shower at home was yesterday and we got so much stuff! I don't know where we are going to put everything but we got an extra base for our infant carseat, we got out 3 in 1 carseat, an exersaucer, Pack N Play, a boppy, a Mobi wrap, a bunch of books, clothes, etc. My mom pretty much bought out every Carter's outfit that is space themed so I'm good on outfits and onesies until this kid is 1!

cali, thanks for the check in! 1. I'm 20+1 today. 2. Feeling good. I'm starting to notice a bit of a waddle when I walk for long periods of time, which is weird because people keep telling me my belly is small, but I definitely feel pregnant. 3. I have a fetal echocardiogram on Tuesday (just precautionary since we did IVF) 4. I'm not sure if I shared that it's a girl

1. How far are you now? 30w3d 2. Symptom check: Same old, same old. Tired, sore legs, peeing a lot. Nothing too bad. 3. What and when is your next appointment? Not until 6/30. But I think I start bi-weekly NSTs after that, so it's about to get busy 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? My baby shower is this Saturday. I'm super excited for it. I can't wait to see how it all turns out and of course I'm excited to get some of the stuff we need. My brother is coming over Tuesday to help MH finish the baby's room, so I really hope they get it done so we have room to put things!

king26, glad your shower went well and you got a lot of stuff! bethkate, congrats on baby girl and good luck at the appointment. cali, hope the shower is awesome, have you gotten the pink blush dress yet? I'm 34+2 today and for the most part feel good. The acid reflux was so awful yesterday and last night. I really hope it doesn't become a reoccurring thing. I have a regular OB appointment on Wed, and then I believe it'll be weekly after that. I can't believe I have less than 6 weeks to go. It's a little surreal and terrifying!

king26, glad your shower went well! The hip pain while sleeping is no fun. I find it's a little better if I sleep with a pillow between my knees and one behind my back so I can kind of lay on it a little. bethkate, congrats on team pink! I hope the fetal echo goes well. I had to have one too with my son since we did IVF for him. cali, hope the shower goes well and you get lots of good stuff! AFM, I'm 30 weeks today. I'm definitely feeling pregnant and can tell I'm getting tired a lot faster and not moving too fast some days. I'm traveling for work Wednesday through Sunday. A cross country flight (AZ to CT) at 30 and 31 weeks should be interesting. But I get to stay in a nice hotel at a casino so I'm hoping to get some gambling in when I'm not busy with work. 😁 Plusalso, it's supposed to be 118 and 120 here in AZ on Monday and Tuesday and over 115 the rest of the week so I'm kinda looking forward to cooler temps too. I have a normal check up on Tuesday and then my twice weekly appointments start on July 3rd.

mrsrodgers, enjoy your time in CT! The New England weather will certainly be a change from AZ. The hotels and casinos down there are gray. So many good restaurants.

king26 – sorry about the pain, but yay for all the loot! Congrats on team pink, bethkate ! @easilyunamused – I can’t believe you’re already coming up on weeklies. The end is definitely intimidating. Please to ask all the questions you may have. We will hold your hand and pat your hair.

AFM, I’m 30+5. Heartburn is gone (Prilosec FTW), so that helps. Otherwise, just feeling .. pregnant. I was hoping the steroid injection I had a week and a half ago would work, but all signs point to no on that. So ready to have answers as to what is actually wrong, and hopefully surgery to get it fixed. My H will be home in a few weeks, so I fully expect time to crawl between now and then. OB appt on Friday, and then we start weekly NST/BPPs with the MFM on the 3rd. That’s about it.

I'm 33+3. Feeling freaking huge. Like I don't know how it's possible I have (fx) 5-8 weeks left. I feel like a hatchimal is trying to break out of my stomach. Literally.

Good luck with the fetal echo bethkate, I had one to because they were having trouble seeing something within the heart + they do it with all IVF pregnancies. It was really cool to see. I hope you have so much fun at your shower this weekend cali, Whew that is hot mrsrodgers, Glad you are getting out of town even though the flight will probably suck. Hopefully you have a good seat and can get up and walk whenever you want. I flew at 26 weeks and it wasn't too bad. YAY for your H coming home soon ketchup, though I'm sure it's not soon enough for you! You are a champ!

codex320, They might've. I was only 18w at my a/s, so they made my appointment for the echo when the baby would be a bit bigger.

How far along are you? EDD?
31w5d (8/17/17) How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
Pretty good actually. Hip pain at night is annoying and making it hard to sleep through the night, and I still am dealing with pretty ugly reflux and heartburn when I don't pay enough attention to portion size etc but overall I am not complaining. Emotionally I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that we're getting so close to the end of this pregnancy. And it's a little overwhelming. I don't feel prepared or ready at all, though at the same time I'm really eager to meet my little girl! Also, after a quiet spell she's finally more active again which I just love as it keeps the crazy thoughts and worries at bay a little better!
Any upcoming appointments or milestones?
Just had an appointment with the MFM yesterday. We discussed the fact that they (MFM and cardiologist) want me to get an epidural early on as to put as little stress on my heart as possible, and what this means for my labor plan etc. I'm getting another U/S at 34 wks to check my placenta again. I don't mind, I love getting to see the bub once more! Really didn't like the fact that our follow up A/S at 27 wks was the last time otherwise Any other word vomit to share?I have to admit I feel somewhat overwhelmed by all we discussed at my last 2 MFM appointments and I'm still processing everything. The whole "mandatory" epidural thing combined with the plan they put in place surrounding placental expulsion due to my increased risk for placenta accreta, it's just a bit much. I'm just feeling like things are so much out of my control (which I know they are, but still) to where I feel anxious and stressed out. But well in the end it is what it is. I know tis important for ME to get through labor in one piece as well. It's more the whole range of things that could also come in play that make me feel.. I dunno. MH&I talked about this quite in depth last night and will continue to do so until I feel less stressed out.. Will come back to tag tomorrow! Forgot the time and it's almost midnight oops, no wonder I'm feeling so pooped! We're in the mids of a heatwave too which isn't fun when you're highly pregnant haha so I was enjoying the cooler evening but definitely time for bed now!
