For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated! 1. How old is your LO? 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3. What was it like the very first time you nursed your LO? 4. Have you read any books about BFing that you thought were particularly helpful? Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing? Any current challenges? Questions for other moms? GTKY Question: What would be the title of your memoir?

Hello! We're still at it.
1. 2.75 (eek) 2. 2-4. When she's latched she never wants to come off. Nursing sessions are going on for forever right now. There are usually tears when I finally end it. 3. I remember with DD1 thinking, well this is weird. 4. I didn't read too many dedicated books about it. I think Ina May had something in one of them that was helpful.

2.75 1. - we nurse at bedtime. I’ve limited the time by singing a song and she’s doing good with that. I was a little nervous about supply and also a little sore from nursing a newborn so limited the time. - I remember being surprised it didn’t just work automatically (dd had match issues) -tandem nursing is going well. Dd still gets so excited to nurse before bed so I don’t want to give it up
