I don't even mind that much that I'm in the office today on a holiday. GTKY: What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? Vietnam when I was 19 (Google tells me it's 8150+ miles!) From Friday at 18+5 or 18+6 or 19+0, depending on who you ask ::eyeroll:: Don't mind my hand looking freakishly big in the foreground hahah

Weeks pregnant: 20! 🎉 Baby is the size of a: banana FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM Team: green Appointments: A/S and OB appt wed! Symptoms: I’m still feeling pretty good right now. Starting to get heavier in the midsection, and was noticeably crampy after a run last week. I need to invest in a support belt if I want to keep running. Milestones: half way! Rants/Raves/Vents: I want to bring my boys to the A/S scan this week so they can see the baby. I took DS1 to nearly every OB appt with DS2, but I haven’t had to bring them this time. I’m afraid something will come up in the A/S though and then I’ll freak out with them there. I guess I can prep MH to take them out ASAP. GTKY: What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? Our honeymoon in Mexico (Yesterday hiking, I’m on the left)

My body feels so different and half the time I don't feel that great. He doesn't say anything but I just feel super guilty about it GTKY: What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? London on our honeymoon!

Baby is the size of a: peach
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: keeping the secret

Symptoms: Slightly less fatigued, just waves of nausea throughout the day, good appetite for carbs and fruit, RLP, slight continuous dark spotting, boobs more sore and maybe growing again.
Milestones: Made it into second trimester! This is so crazy!! Feeling super thankful.

Rave - DH is a superhero. He takes care of me so well and the house and errands.
GTKY: What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? Almost 7,000 mi - I lived in Beijing for a summer, and in Qingdao (beautiful seaside city in China across the water from Seoul, Korea, and the home of Tsingtao beer) for 3+ years.

sammysam I’m so glad to see your update! Looking forward to hearing some good news from you in the future. sunshiney I actually lived in in Italy for a little over a year but it was when I was 7-8yo. My step dad was in the military so Italy was my home away from home for a little while. I remember the pasta being amazing! My mom was a huge fan of the prosciutto and bread sticks too. They also had the BEST chocolate!

Weeks pregnant: 17
Baby is the size of a: Pear? Pomegranate? Those do not seem the same size to me?
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Finding Out
Appointments: Wednesday, Anatomy Scan 9/17
Symptoms: TMI- I am super constipated and nothing is helping. I also have insane itching on my scalp and no idea what to do about it. So, between that and the overall exhaustion of my life I am a total mess.
Milestones: DD1 came home from school and let me know she told her teacher. She gestured to my sort of huge belly and said, it isn’t really a secret anymore, right?!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Tapatalk won’t let me on here right now! Idk what the problem is! I had to log on without my phone.
I am stressing about planning. Both the details of a baby, and big picture stuff like what I am doing long term about my job. I have made a decision about my current position after baby is born, but I don’t have a long term plan.
GTKY: What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? Not that far! Probably miles wise the other side of the country.

Weeks pregnant: 22+3
Baby is the size of a: Ear of corn
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: blue
Appointments: not until after Yellowstone at the end of the month.
Symptoms: my gag reflex sucks right now, but he's been relatively easy so far, although I'm feeling more swollen in my hands and feet.
Milestones: every day is a milestone.
Rants/Raves/Vents: We're going out of town this weekend but not bringing our dogs. I'll probably cry. I hate being away from them. If i'm this bad now... I can only imagine how i'll be leaving our kid. My H's best friend and his girlfriend came to visit over the weekend and brought 7 gift bags filled with baby presents!!! Everything from sunglasses to clothes to books. It was seriously so sweet and such a crazy surprise. Our kiddo is lucky to have people (besides us) who love him already.
GTKY: What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? Hawaii but we're going to Yellowstone this weekend so that's pretty far too!

I had frozen my yoga studio membership for 2 months because I was way too sick to go. Now it's been reactivated. I feel OK about doing the actual exercise, but iffy on whether I can tolerate the heat. I guess I'll find out when I go. Even the unheated classes get really hot with many people sweating in a room with no AC.

Weeks pregnant: 16 + 2 Baby is the size of an avocado FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Blue Appointments: OB this Thursday Symptoms: I’m pretty exhausted and I’ve had some terrible headaches. That’s probably a combination of pregnancy and pneumonia, though. Milestones: Nothing new, but I feel better and better about this pregnancy with each week! Rants/Raves/Vents: I ordered a few outfits over the weekend after realizing that DS’s newborn clothes will be off-season for this LO. Guys, the pants are SO tiny and cute. I actually squeed when I opened the package. I completely forgot how itty bitty new babes are. GTKY: What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? Barbados Bump!

Weeks pregnant: 15+2
Baby is the size of an: orange
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Pink
Appointments: not this week, I'm at least on top of that much...
Symptoms: RLP at times, trying to ease that. Starting to feel that second tri normalcy so hoping it continues!
Milestones: Just happy I'm here.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Rave: DS1 started school today! Rant: So sick of the GD diet already mentally. It was easier to do the diet when it was novel; it being old hat to me just makes it more burdensome. It also makes for far more annoying meal planning because no popping in a pizza, etc. on nights where I need something easy.
GTKY: What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? Europe

FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Finding out
Appointments: This Friday for routine visit
Symptoms: Finally feeling a little better.Still lots of food aversions. Less nausea.Less fatigue. All ready having some feet and leg swelling but I think some of it is heat related.
Milestones: I think I'm feeling some movement.

GTKY: What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? Italy.

Weeks pregnant: 17 weeks tomorrow! Baby is the size of a: avocado FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM Team: boy! Appointments: anatomy scan in 2 weeks Symptoms: some heartburn/acid reflux in reaction to certain foods, constipation, but otherwise, so much better than previous weeks. holy moly. Milestones: less of a baby milestone, but just told my boss / colleagues. everyone's excited, supportive, and stress-free, which is such a departure from previous jobs. Rants/Raves/Vents: we're currently in a 1 bedroom apt, looking to upgrade after the baby is born (we have plenty of space for at least 6mo-1year). my in laws, well intentioned, keep trying to push big furniture items that we just don't need, and don't have space for. feels like they're subtly making judgements, but hey, it only gets more pronounced from here, right? GTKY: What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? also beijing / qingdao -- or else new zealand / kenya / south africa (travel quite a bit for work in my previous life)
