Now that all our babies are getting older is anyone doing anything in particular to loose weight/get fit?
I started the Keto diet a week ago and so far like it. Everyone always says breastfeeding will help with weight well that’s a big fat lie 😆.

I wish! I do not have the energy yet for exercise. I think between the stress, breastfeeding and a no dairy and no soy diet it’s helped me get to pre pregnancy weight much faster. Things are still jiggly but the weight is gone

Like itsmemeg its not so much a weight loss issue for me as just toning. I’ve lost all the weight, although I’d ideally lose maybe 2 more pounds. My clothes don’t fit right yet though. Same thing happened with DD. Once I went back to work after her it didn’t take too long to get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes. Hoping that happens again as I don’t have the time or energy to fit much exercise in.

I fortunately didn't gain much this time around, so BFing and dairy free got rid of that quickly plus another 10 lbs. I was overweight before my first, though, and was carrying an extra 30 lbs from that pregnancy when I got pregnant this time, so I still have a very long way to go.
Walking and Bikini Body Mommy are my go-tos for exercise. I did start C25K at the beginning of the summer too, but wasn't able to keep up with it. Hoping to get back to it this fall.

BF-ing has helped me lose most of the weight. I make sure I walk each day and I’m watching what I eat. I go back to work Tuesday and if this is anything like with LO I will lose quite a bit of weight by going back to work.
A lot of moms I know do BBM.

I’m not sure why breastfeeding has never done anything for me 😩. I’m not overweight by any means Have about 5 lbs until I’m back to pre pregnancy weight then I’d love to loose about 20 more

I had so many supply issues that I had to keep my calorie intake high in order to produce enough (and I still had to supplement once I started working and pumping often). So you're not alone there.

I need to get back in shape for sure. We bought a rower a few weeks ago, so I’ve been rowing most mornings since my big kid is in school. I’ve got J a little set up next to the rower with a blanket and a black & white board book. I stopped working out last week; my grandma passed unexpectedly so I’ve been dealing with that. Definitely need to get back in the groove though.

I go here. I haven’t been able to get the scale to budge since 6 weeks postpartum. I workout at least 5x a week (Pilates, barre, spin). Im actually sitting in the parking lot waiting for my spin/trx fusion class right now.
The scale not moving is infuriating but I feel strong AF compared to where I started postpartum. I just weaned a couple of weeks ago so I’m hoping once my hormones stabilize it will start to come off. Just like with my DD, my body held on tight to every ounce while BFing.
I’m going to start using MFP today to try to check things out there and keep some accountability.

I got my macros calculated and I'm losing 1-2 pounds a week. I have about 14 pounds to PP weight, but 29 to my goal weight. I am eating a lot more food than I usually do when trying to lose weight, but my supply is awesome and I feel more healthy than ever.

My goal for September is to try and fit in exercise. Body weight exercises, yoga, treadmill. Just something each day.

Same as apk4...Had ny macros but it’s been hard meeting the numbers (always short). I have 10lbs to go for pre pregnancy weight and 20 for my ideal weight.
I was doing strength training and spin but fell if the wagon this week. I really don’t know how I’m going to fit it back in now that I go back to work. I’m planning on prioritizing strength training over cardio since I feel like I see the most benefit.

Going back to work has really put a damper on my working out. And my diet is not great so I need to step it up in both areas.

I need to really commit to this, but like some of you, my sugar addiction is completely out of control right now. I used to take really long walks and I lost a lot of weight that way, and felt really strong, but I just feel so blah lately that I don't even want to leave my house most days.
