How far along are you? 30+4
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Emotionally I'm fine. Physically my feet are swollen and that sucks. I've also been getting hip pain when I drive further then 30 miles which sucks because my doctor is 60 miles away. Plus acid reflux is still going strong.
Any appointments or milestones coming up this week? I have an appointment on Thursday, normal appointment. We also have our birthing classes on Tuesday and Thursday (an hour away so yay for driving! LOL)
Do you need any thoughts or prayers? No thank you
Anything else you'd like to share? Baby shower was at my parents yesterday. 15 people came and it was really nice to see some of my friends I haven't seen in a while. I also feel so much better about the baby coming because we got an extra base for our infant carseat, we got out 3 in 1 carseat, an exersaucer, Pack N Play, a boppy, a Mobi wrap, a bunch of books, clothes, etc. My mom pretty much bought out every Carter's outfit that is space themed so I'm good on outfits and onesies until this kid is 1! Plus my mom got us 4 really cute space themed pictures to put on the wall which is great because I have nothing to decorate the walls with.
Which of the baby items you have gotten so far made you squee the most or is your favorite? One of my friends at work made us a baby quilt that I really love. I also like the pictures my parents got us for the walls.

Thanks for the check-in. I am almost 34 weeks and starting to freak a little. This is our second so thankfully we have most of the key things, but I have little to nothing that is boy specific.
I have gotten myself some serious hip pain this past week so any advice on ho to get rid of that would be great, otherwise not much going on.
Q:I don't have them yet but my friend is making me some 'pee tents' so my little boy can't pee in my face. That is seriously the thing freaking me out the most!

Weekly check-in:
How far along are you? 31+3
How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Ok... he made me panic yesterday morning bc I couldn't remember if I felt him when I woke up so I had to do the whole drink ice water and lay on my left side for an hour... he finally woke up but I was panicking and then I fell asleep waiting so I was freaking out I missed his kicks. It was a weird morning haha.
Physically, I've got ridic Heartburn. Swelling ankles/feet and right hip pain. 👎🏼 I've just accepted it. Try not to eat too much but ugh. I'm so tired. I wake up early every day but I fall asleep on the couch every damn night. I hate it!
Any appointments or milestones coming up this week? Regular appt on Wednesday.
Do you need any thoughts or prayers? I'm okay, thanks though!
Anything else you'd like to share? 🤷🏻♀️ I'm just hanging out. I am semi panicked about the lack of progress in his nursery but then I'm too tired to care to do something about it. We decided to buy his crib mid July because that's the next weekend DH and I will both have off from work, so we will see what happens.
QotW: Which of the baby items you have gotten so far made you squee the most or is your favorite? Probably the shoes! They're so itty bitty! My coworker got us a pair of sperry loafer boat shoes and my parents sent us a pair of slip on shoes. So freakin cute I just love them.

How far along are you? 31wks tomorrow! How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Physically just some heartburn and exhaustion. Emotionally pretty good. Very impatient though. Any appointments or milestones coming up this week? No appointments until after the 4th. Do you need any thoughts or prayers? Nope! Well maybe a prayer for patience... Anything else you'd like to share? I'm frustrated that our nursery work has stalled again. We painted it all and pulled out the rug Sunday and that was the end, because we realized that the baseboard heaters in the house are on the floor meaning the carpeting was not underneath them at all. We were already planning on taking them out and switching to new smaller ones set into the wall, but H had figured he could do the flooring by sliding it under. Well that's a no go. So I got the electrician out yesterday to give a quote (very reasonable), so now we wait for the new heater to get here. At this rate I can't do anymore on the nursery until July. I just want to get all the furniture out of my livingroom. QotW: Which of the baby items you have gotten so far made you squee the most or is your favorite? My mom bought cute little knitted booties and sweaters. But I also really love the peter rabbit lovie that my grandmother got. But we haven't opened much yet because no nursery to store it in. elliecat17, I'm sorry about your nursery frustration. I'm in the same boat. My brother promised to come this week to help MH finish everything in our nursery and then cancelled twice. So now it definitely won't be done before our shower and I'm so frustrated that I just cry every time I think of it cuz I feel it will never get done. And like you, I'm so sick of the furniture and boxes all over our house!

cali I'm so sorry that you are in the same boat. It's hard to be excited and not nervous about baby coming before the nursery is ready when it seems there is always a reason not to work on it.

How far along are you? 31w5d How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)?Not doing too bad. Starting to feel a little big, but since I'm still limited in what I can do with my broken ankle it's not bothering me too much (yet? ;-)). Ditto for my heart, tis been keeping relatively quiet lately so that's good. Do get a lot of hip pain at night which makes sleeping uncomfortable, and need to remember to eat small portions also if the food is just sooo good or I'm hungry cause otherwise my rib starts hurting and reflux gets so bad. Rennies/tums are still my best friends on most days *g* But apart from this I'm feeling pretty good. Emotionally I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that we're getting so close to the end of this pregnancy. And it's a little overwhelming. I don't feel prepared or ready at all, though at the same time I'm really eager to meet my little girl! Also, after a quiet spell she's finally more active again which I just love as it keeps the crazy thoughts and worries at bay a little better Any appointments or milestones coming up this week?On Monday I had my (almost) 32 wk MFM appointment. The MFM had met with the cardiologist team to discuss my case reecntly. They decided that as long as my heart continues to behave the way it does now, a c-section isn't necessary but they want me to get an epidural early on as to put as little stress on my heart as possible. We discussed what this meant, the pros and cons, possible options and complications yadda yadda. We're seeing the anesthesiologist in 2 weeks as well to discuss things further since I don't always respond too well to these kind of meds. I have to admit I felt really overwhelmed by the time I got home and I'm still processing everything. Especially combined with the plan they put in place surrounding placental expulsion due to my increased risk for placenta accreta. I'm just feeling like things are so much out of my control (which I know they are, but still) to where I feel anxious and stressed out. I am maybe a bit disappointed I won't be able to even try things medfree, and that getting an epidural makes it to where I won't be able to labor in some of the positions I had liked to try. But I can deal with that, as I know tis important for ME to get through labor in one piece as well and I want to be able to enjoy those first days/weeks as much as possible instead of having to recover from a too heavy birth myself. It's more the whole range of things that could also come in play that make me feel.. I dunno. MH&I talked about this quite in depth last night and will continue to do so until I feel less stressed out.. Oh and I'll be getting another U/S at 34wks to double check my placenta placement once more. I don't mind, love getting to see the bub once more. I was a bit sad that after having had relatively many scans the first half of the pregnancy, I'd get no more after our follow up A/S at 27 weeks lol. So this is a nice treat *g* Do you need any thoughts or prayers? Not really, thanks! Anything else you'd like to share? We had our hospital info evening & tour this evening. MH wasn't at all keen in joining me but I made him come haha and I think in the end he didn't mind too much. The MFM asked us on Monday whether we had done a tour already and if not, were we planning on it, and was pretty firm that it was something we should do together LOL. So that made me laugh and MH grumble though he knew we were going together anyway heh. The talk was so-so interesting, most I already knew/heard before. The last bit of the evening was to tour the department. It was a rather large group and everybody was cramping themselve info one room, but we got a private tour of another room cause I was in the wheelchair. Score! At least one positive thing came of breaking my ankle huh I really did like viewing the room and also did pick up a couple of interesting tidbits, so all in all it was a succesful evening I guess. I however wasn't prepared for the part about contractions and all to trigger so many emotions. I suddenly was taken back in time to when I took the cytotec after we found out about our MMC. Really took me by surprise, and I teared up which made me feel so stupid (though I don't think people noticed as we sat in the back). Managed to keep it together but I wouldn't be surprised if things come back over the next couple of days. It's just rough. QotW: Which of the baby items you have gotten so far made you squee the most or is your favorite?Whenever I see the newborn onesies I picked out myself I can't help but smile wide. I can't wait to see them on my babygirl - she's gonne look so cute ♥ My aunt is crochetting a babyblanket and while I have yet to see the finished product what I've seen so far looks so great, I know tis going to be one of my favorite baby items.

cali I'm so sorry that you are in the same boat. It's hard to be excited and not nervous about baby coming before the nursery is ready when it seems there is always a reason not to work on it. *hugs* cali & elliecat17. I too am in the same boat.. you're not alone in this! We have not been able to do ANY preperation for the nursery just yet and the room is still full of boxes and other stored crap. It sucks and it makes me anxious and upset, worried we'll never get things in order before baby gets here. But hopefully once I get rid of my cast and can move around freely again, we will be able to tackle things and make quick progress. Once the room is empty all we gotte do is paint it and can start decorating and putting in furniture (which btw still needs to be purchased LOL we're so behind on our original planning due to me breaking my ankle!).. and I think we should be able to pull that off in one weekend?? Or maybe that's hopeful thinking lol.

Will come back to tag tomorrow! Forgot the time and it's almost midnight oops, no wonder I'm feeling so pooped! We're in the mids of a heatwave too which isn't fun when you're highly pregnant haha so I was enjoying the cooler evening but definitely time for bed now!

elliecat17 , I'm sorry about your nursery frustration. Add me to the nursery frustration club. All of our stuff from the shower is sitting in the hallway because the damn room isn't even close to being finished. I told DH today is it, the last piece of furniture is coming out of the room and I'm taping everything so we can paint this weekend. Then next week we'll build the crib and I'll feel so much better. We already have the nightstand and dresser in there but they'll have to be moved so we can paint. I really want the crib built because it's a crib and changer so I can put the diapers and wipes in the drawers and get the bedding in the crib. I pulled out the bassinet today and plan on building it this weekend and putting it in our room so we have a place for the baby to sleep. I got all of our discount coupons from the stores for the completion discount and would like to know what we still need to buy but I can't do that until I have the damn nursery set up!!!!

king26 , elliecat17 , muscari , well I hate that we are all in the same nursery frustration boat but at least we have each other to vent to about it! I wonder if DH could sense my frustration as I posted above because about 5 minutes after I posted he asked if I was ready to move the vanity out of the room. We had some problems with it but it's out! So now I just need to pull the dresser and crib box away from the walls and I can at least get them taped tomorrow! Everything needs to be taped because we have crown molding in every room of this house.
