I've wondered for the longest time why the potted vinca on my back porch seems to be doing well (like, it's alive) but never bloomed. Just figured it out. C is going out and picking the flowers. Here's something fantastic...DH *might* get out on a helo this afternoon. Cross your fingers and toes. Otherwise he'll be out there til next weekend. I have been holding out hope that he would get home so I wouldn't have to reschedule the sleep study and a couple other things next week. |

Cadence came into my room at 6. It was right after I was awoken by a leg cramp from hell. She plopped into my bed and said she wanted to do something fun. Sleep if fun kid, go to sleep.
My alarm went off 15 minutes later and she was gone.
Ends up she went to mh who gladly gave her the tablet in trade for her going back to her room.
When I got out of the shower she was back in my room saying she was tired. Too bad. Now you have to wait for nap time.

I’m laughing flamingo, C and Julia seem to have the same interests, I dead head the plants every evening when we’re outside playing after dinner and she walks behind me picking off the freshly bloomed ones 😐 |

I hope it was bad wine wineallthetime . No judgement from me on boxed wine, they made some really good boxed ones now! nam2013 what kind of wine do you think is in wine's profile pic? sands42 how are you settling into the house? I'm sad the Aldi's by me don't carry alcohol. Kansas law prohibits the sale of wine and liquor from grocery stores, you can only buy beer in them, which Aldi doesn't carry. Ahem. Still waiting on that really good boxed wine.... |

wineallthetime I drink Chardonnay occasionally but there's a lot out there that I don't care for that much. If I'm going to drink white, it will be a sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio, but I prefer the sauvignon.

They're measuring for counters right now. I hscs an oil change at 11 and then need to take peach to the clinic. He's complaining of ear pain.

Morning! E had a runny nose last night which has drained and is making her cough. It’s clear and no fever so she is going to DC for a few hours so I can take LO to the king tut exhibit.
Other then that I need to call HR and the state to get the date straight on when I return to work. Boss thinks Tuesday, the State thinks Tuesday, HR thinks Wednesday.

FFFC: I've never had boxed wine. First time I puked in college was franzia..but recently I get the black box ones which are pretty decent. It lasts longer and is easy to just have on hand to drink or cook with. (I'm not a wine expert though). |

Pete is painting today since the drywall people finished up last night. It better dry fast because I don't know how I'm going to keep the kids away. We're meeting chrisy01 at a park tomorrow morning but other than that there aren't any plans for this weekend. LO can’t wait for tomorrow. He’s so excited to see A! |

We take boxed wine with us to Norway/Sweden. Alcohol is soooooo expensive there and boxed wine takes up less space 🤷🏼♀️.

The morning runner hasn't shown up. Called the taco place and they hadn't been picked up yet. The receptionist called the runner and he didn't answer. I texted him, no answer. The receptionist went to get the tacos. Idk why she waited until 9 to think it was odd that he wasn't here yet. He's supposed to be here at 8.
The office closes at noon today. I'm very excited to go home and go back to sleep!

Tgif! First week of class(started Wednesday) and 2 assignments due tonight. We have an early release at 2, but I'll stick around and do some school work. We were potentially going to the beach this weekend with friends but that fell through..so will try to hit the pool a few times before it closes.

I mean, I’ll drink it, but i find most of them too buttery. I usually go for Pinot Grigio in the summer, but I’m really exited for fall to drink a good, dry Cabernet. My ILs are not wine people and think they’re so clever mixing red and white Franzia to have their own rose...... 😐 |

Happy Friday! Dh and i are both working a half day then spending the afternoon priming the basement walls. I finally got appointments scheduled with the cabinet guy so hopefully things are moving forward.
ILs are coming tmrw and spending the night, then Sunday we will go to my parents. I’d like to take n shopping on Monday for new school clothes. So overall a pretty low key weekend.

M is very serious about her coloring these days so i have a few different coloring things for her. I also got some board games, a lunch box, a baby alive doll, arts & crafts type thingys, a peter pan figurine set and we're doing the princess party thingy. |

Morning! I am moving slowly today due to lots of Bea wakeups. She did an 8 hour stretch two nights in a row and I don't know if it messed with my supply or what, but now she's back to 3-4 hour stretches. Sad Trombone.
H is done at noon today, and I have some front door hardware arriving just in time. My current front door is split at the edge and it is a huge pain to open. We stained a new wood one (it was a find at Habitat for Humanity) and it looks gorgeous. I hope H is feeling inspired to start the installation today 😁
