How do we feel about Bill Cosby and the mistrial?

I'm not surprised! I, in no way blame these women at all. It proves our justice system is broken! That said, What jury wants to condemn Dr. Huxtable? Bill Cosby is a confusing man. He has done a lot for our community and for normalizing the middle-class black family with the Cosby show. He also poured money into HBCUs. I think it's hard for some to separate his good deeds from his evil deeds with these women.

I read somewhere that for white women, this issue is black and white! He did it so he should be punished. But for black women it's more complicated! I would love to hear how it's complicated for some.

The case against him was weak in my opinion. The accuser's story kept changing, she seemed to have had an extra-marital relationship with him and couldn't pin down when the assault actually happened. I don't believe they were allowed to consider most of the other women with the exception of one and the jury heard from her on the stand. So to me it came down to his word against theirs. Yes he admitted to doing it, but I believe those he admitted to were outside the statute of limitations which is why I wasn't surprised they were a hung jury.
