DS loves all fruit, but especially berries, and most of all blueberries! He also loves baked zucchini (I cut thick slices and dip in bread crumbs then bake), he will eat them faster than I can cut them up!

Hmm favorite? Sweet potatoes, chicken and graham crackers. She isn't picky though and will eat all fruits and most vegetables if they're seasoned well. Dont try to give my kid a piece of unsalted green bean, that wont end well.
We are into all cuts of meat and most breads. Sometimes she finds grains pretty boring, so we usually dont give her any bread.

Definitely avocado. He crams everything into his face as fast as he can, but he will restart meals with a vengeance if we pull out an avocado.

Double fisting huge handfuls of whatever and just shovelling it in. Slow it down kid, nobody is going to take your food

Spaghetti or strawberries
Or just food. Girl loves her food.

Omg so many. Pickles, any kind of bean, steak, guacamole...I’m at a loss trying to think of what he dislikes. If it’s something he can feed himself he is all about it.

Add us to the avocado love. LO is a huge fan of carbs (pasta, rice, bread, you name it), chicken, and prunes. Pumpkin too - especially Japanese pumpkin, steamed. He tends to like more savory foods to sweet 🤷♀️

I've concluded my kid is a solid no on avocado. Just like her mama ♡♡
Well, and dad but mostly just like her mama.

Avocado is the one non-puree food LO will eat. Although he did eat a couple actual peas last night (woo hoo making progress). DS1 would eat an entire avocado if I let him.

Um. Everything. This kid is a bottomless pit. The thing I'm happiest about is pizza. 🤣 H and DS1 both hate any red sauce so we've never had pizza or spaghetti night in my house and it makes me sad because I luuuurve both. This kid loves red sauce so me and him will be having pizza nights for sure.

When they share your interests and you just have the best friend in the whole world to do them with. Especially when said interests are food hah.

DS1 and H are both artists, drawing/painting and love horror movies. I’m left out. Til now. The baby and I can eat while the others draw.

Earlier today I took DS to a movie and we polished off a large popcorn with extra butter between us. This is our Sunday afternoon ritual. It’s great because DH likes neither movies nor popcorn. I mean, I have to see kid movies but still.

Most fruits over here too. This week he's into cut up bits of peaches. He also lurves chicken tikka, moroccan chicken dish and braised beef I make for tacos. I just started making congee for him and today I added Kabocha squash and he seemed to like the cut up pieces. Do you guys know how much approximately your babes are eating each meal?

The other night the baby ate 2 full stalks of asparagus. I’m so excited he seems to like all the vegetables.
Question about broccoli though: I’ve only given it once and he choked a little on it. I guess because of texture. Are y’all just cutting it up small? Steaming until it’s really soft? I’m going to try again.

My kid has no fear and would shove the entire thing in her mouth if I didn't. duskymonkey I'm gonna say whatever a healthy toddler meal is, that's what E eats lol. Typically for dinner she will eat maybe a (my) fist size chunk of chicken, sweet potatoes and maybe some fruit. Homegirl can pack away some food.

duskymonkey amounts definitely vary by meal. Breakfast seems to be when he eats the most. He can do a whole egg, one piece of toast with jam, 2 sausage links and even some pancake if we have it. Alternately, an oatmeal packet, half banana and a yogurt pouch. Lunch I usually send those Gerber pasta pickups and a veggie pouch to daycare, then he has an afternoon snack- fruit cup, jammy Sammy, Cheerios, etc. Dinner he usually skips because he naps so horribly he goes to sleep around 5/5:30. I’ve noticed my grocery bill has already gone up because of this kid.

i am thinking now that I should/can drop nursing before meals and offer milk during meal times. It ridic but I cannot for the life of me remember what we did with DS. I am just afraid I would lose my milk. We're still like drinking milk 6x a day. Lil fella is only eating 1/2 C of food a meal but he does eat 3x a day...no snack though, milk is his snack I suppose.
