Yes, I wouldn’t worry yet, still well within the range of normal. Sometimes they just get lazy 🤷🏻♀️ Also +1 to glad now I don’t have to deal with a paci. I want to frigin sleep again though. I’m getting sick of the wakeups. Ugh I’m sorry M isn’t sttn. We had a taste of that on Monday when we were camping and I can’t ever go through that again. It’s kinda really making me feel OAD. My first was similar to your guy with the eleventy wakeups but it lasted much longer than A. I’m so glad he started STTN for you! I still managed to have a second so you might not be OAD 😂🤣

My friends 2.5 year old doesn’t sttn either and I’m so scared A will start waking up again.

DS had his paci until like almost 2.5. He only got it for sleep. It stayed in his bed. :::Shruggy guy:: E doesn't really love whole milk either. She'll drink a few sips at a time. But she loves cheese and yogurt, etc and she drinks a ton of water. I'm not worried. J would eat cheese and yogurt all day every day

I’m also getting a little impatient about A walking. He used to let us walk holding his hands and now he barely likes to put weight on them. Is it normal to backtrack like this? My ped said 14 months is now the average for walking though it's normal not to walk until 16 months and is perfectly fine. (Or 18..but I think he said 16). My cousins little girl didn't do it until 15.5 months and now is 23 months and is everywhere.

So, H dropped on me this morning that he was asked if he wanted to be a supervisor at his job. So, he would have to go in earlier and that means we’d need daycare. T is starting pre-K, but they have a WRAP program to make it full time - it’s only $420 a month. There are still openings, but I don’t know how long. I don’t know what to do with R. I think we’d only need part-time afternoons. I’m not sure how I feel about all this. I’d see H even less and I’m not sure the increased income is worth it. Bah... I’ve been spiraling all day. Ah that's so tough. How long does he have to decide?

My first did it on her own too when she was ready. This one started off so well, a couple hiccups along the way but not terrible. It’s currently only 2 wakeups at the most and she does go right back down usually but it’s still killing me. DNW a nonsleeping older toddler. I know I need to go back to CIO but it sucks living in a small house with their rooms side by side.

Ugh I'm tired of the wake ups. Most of the time it's one which is fine but in the last 3 weeks he has woken up 2 or 3 times at least 5 of those nights and it sucks.
J likes whole milk just fine but not in a sippy cup. We are working on it.
I'm sorry if I'm repeating myself. I'm back to work and its messing me up.
Poor J. Yesterday he didn't want to eat dinner. He looked at me, said mama, then puked all over both of us. I felt awful. Then during his second wake up of the night I was picking him up, he peed, and it leaked all over both of us....tonight better be better.....

However, he goes right back to sleep after I feed him but I cant get back to sleep so I'm exhausted everyday

bsouls, that’s awesome your H was asked to become a supervisor. If I was in that position and money was ok at the time, I’d want him to decline the offer. Time Home spent with us is worth more than a few dollars raise.

Today it’s finally Lilly’s turn for a 1st Birthday celebration! (A few days early though)
She’s been a mess the past few days with teething so hopefully she’s not cranky today.

I’ve heard a couple people say oh they STTN until x age and then never again. When they ask about M. My thought is 1) why you trying to rain on my parade ? 2) We will re-sleep train but tweak things to be more age appropriate? We can do this August 17! People are always there to share scary anecdotes with parents. It’s so annoying.

Of course most kids have ups and downs with sleep but never STTN again is so over the top.

Only 1 wake up last night at midnight! He tried waking up at 330 but I decided to wait 10 minutes before getting him. He went back to sleep in 5. I also got him to take his milk after his first nap in his straw cup.

Good night sleep again. Up once to eat at 130. However, he threw up his entire dinner last night. Same as Thursday. We had Asian both nights so now I'm worried it's an allergy to something. Poor guy. I hate that. He seems better today and tmi had the biggest poop I've ever seen. I dont know how it came out of him. So maybe he will feel better now.

king26 Sorry J threw up. I have heard of some allergies causing that. Hope it's not, though! Ds1 still doesn't sttn at 3.5 and at 1 was waking up 5x or so. Sleep was just a nightmare with him, and I expected the same thing with baby h, but he started sttn at 9 months and I'm still shocked he does it. And we can take no credit for it. He just has a more laid back personality and likes to sleep. So a second could be totally different. Or not, lol!
