Morning! Checking in from my rock in the middle of the creek. We cross the bridge to take my 1st grader to school each morning, and Evie and Theo like to stop and explore on the way back home. They have to get IN the creek, because of course they do. Off to catch up...I missed the whole weekend!  |

flamingo , I have to admit it took me a few minutes to decipher the FDOS acronym. I was wracking(racking?) my brain for names of stores or designers to figure out what you were talking about. LOL, sorry it was probably a bit random. I was trying to avoid typing out 'first day of school' again. |

flamingo, yes, it's fairly young and the battery is even younger. Pretty sure I just got that battery within the last year or so. We'll see if she starts later, if not, I guess I'm looking at get a new battery.

We'll see if she starts later, if not, I guess I'm looking at get a new battery. Find your receipts, most batteries have a 1 year warranty! Fingers crossed it starts though! I think you can go to like Auto Zone or a place like that, and they can test it to see if there are bad cells in it, so you can replace it now, if that is it, and don't have to worry about jump starts. |

I manage a fleet of 8 vehicles at work and because they sit most of the winter we tend to have problems with the battery in the spring. Some just need a charge, but sometimes they need replacing and it doesn’t cost me if it’s been less than a year! ETA: I see mwhip has covered this...I should have read on first. |

Well, I guess I jinxed myself this morning talking about my week of freedoms. S had a cluster of 5 seizures this morning at school in about 45 minutes time. They had to give her the emergency med to get them to stop. So MH went and picked her up because I’m at our HQ office today an hour away. Looks like we are probably heading to STL tomorrow to get an EKG because the dr doesn’t want to increase her meds anymore until she makes sure they are not affecting her too much since she’s on a pretty high dose of everything already.

Thanks everyone! It's so weird to see a picture of myself everytime the page loads because I don't like seeing full body shots of myself! flamingo I ordered the dress off Zulily (for $10) awhile back. I swear, the description said it was a tunic, so I assumed it was a tank top, finally received it and it was a dress. If I hadn't lost the weight, I'd have been returning it! |

You look so good mwhip!! And super cute dress! dapostrophe I am insanely jealous of your gorgeous walk to school!! Well, I took L’s temperature again and it spike to 104. Gave him Tylenol and it brought it down to 102. I don’t know if I should take him in or wait it out. He doesn’t have any other symptoms. And I did manage to scramble and find help for tonight so he can stay home and I can still run both practices. I had a friend mom shame me a little this morning, she basically told me I should cancel practice because my child comes first. Well, yeah. But if I can figure out a way to not cancel I’m going to. And if it wasn’t the first practice of the season I probably would have, but I feel like to cancel the first practice sets a precedent that we are flaky coaches. |
