We are making plans for storage for the bathroom and room that our contractor just finished. I am trying to figure out how to suggest counseling to my BIL. He is facing possible eviction due to severe hoarding. He's started venting to me but he needs professional help.

Looks like ds2 has roseola. His rash is much more mild than ds1 had but his fever was higher. We are going to hibachi tonight for dinner.

Today started with a 6 mile run, an event at DD3’s preschool, costume measurements for DD2’s dance team, weight check for DD4, soccer game for DD3, then soccer game for DD2. Whew. It was about 3:40pm when we finally were home and we just turned on a movie for the kids. Everyone is wiped!
I’m happy to report that DD4 is back on the growth chart! Just barely at 2.95%, but her dot touched the third percentile kind so I’m calling it. She’s been waking up a lot more at night so I’m hoping if we try to phase out one of the night wakings she doesn’t drop again, but we’ve got a follow up with the pediatrician on Tuesday to discuss. She weighed 13lbs 9oz at 7.5 Months.
Making tacos and quesadillas for dinner putting the kids to bed and drinking some margaritas.

Hi! I have been insanely busy all day. I went to work for a half hour. Then I got a mani/pedi. After that I came home for a bit. I started packing for vacation on Monday. Then we went to the mall. The baby and MH got haircuts. I can’t believe I had to have his haircut already. It was almost in his eyes and was covering his ears. Then I came home and made dinner and cleaned up. I’m beat.
Tomorrow is my grandmothers 90th birthday. Then Monday we leave for vacation!

Hi guys!
I've been very in and out lately. Being in two jobs sucks! Ugh.
I can't believe my Livvy - loo is 6 mo old on Tuesday! She had a liiiittle bit of cake and sucked on some new foods at my BFFs 30th party today. She was so about it.
Her first little tooth is coming in strong and as predicted, tooth #2 is coming in right behind it! I'm hoping it makes an appearance soon. She was gnawing on my friends hand at the party who noted that her tooth was very sharp.. And then I reminded him that I'm nursing 🤣 he was like yikes!
We bought our first Boden shirts this week. I snagged some long sleeves in pretty good condition 4/30$ shipped for size 4/5. They have some pilling which doesn't bother me because they are nice and thick and soft. DD1 will love them. It's now a rabbit hole for sure.
We're doing family pics next weekend so I will prob pop in next week to ask for advice on outfits!
Our 6mo check up is on 9/4. I think DD2 is around 20 pounds. So we'll see!

Hey ladies! Crazy week and I have another crazy week ahead! I am packing and getting ready for our cross country trek. I am getting worried bc we haven’t had much action on the house which suck bc we’re obviously reliable for remaining of this lease. I just really hope that we can get this place rented before we leave.

Looks like ds2 has roseola. His rash is much more mild than ds1 had but his fever was higher. We are going to hibachi tonight for dinner. The baby has had a cold all week with a small fever and has just developed a rash. After lots of googling, I think it might be roseola? My husband keeps telling him we should take him in to been seen, since we’re newbies and don’t know what we’re doing lol. I’m thinking since his temperature is only 99 and a runny nose are the only other symptoms, I’m going to wait it out and check on him a few times in the night.

cake I’m sorry baby is sick. I’d say that there is a 95% chance that taking him in won’t get you anywhere. Babies get rashes for the weirdest reasons or no reasons at all. And I’m sure you know but with most viruses by the time a rash appears the virus has nearly run its course. If your pediatrician has an on call line give them a call, but likely they’ll tell you to watch him, and bring him in if the rash gets much worse, or the fever gets a lot higher.

ajetter We didn’t take him in and he seems about the same this morning. My husband was worried he was having an allergic reaction to something we fed him, but I think it’s much more likely to be a virus. As long as there are no big changes, I’ll just keep monitoring from home.

As long as there are no big changes, I’ll just keep monitoring from home. This is what I would do. G has gotten rashes from fevers/viruses on more than one occasion. I would give it a few days. It he is eating ok, still making wet diapers and his fever doesn’t get too high, I wouldn’t worry too much.

I third all this. I don't usually call my ped until it's been more than 72 hours with a fever, or if it goes above 103. DD1 got dangerously close a few times (102.8, etc) but never over. I give Tylenol when she's visibly uncomfortable and I also treat fever holistically for comfort with tepid baths, lots of hydration, etc. E had roseola when she was about 1. She had a high fever, fever broke, within 12 hours she had the rash. O I think had also had it, but she had a very mild fever, and then a couple days later, the rash.

Discovered baby is cutting her third tooth in a 10 day span. No wondering she has been screeching at me like a rabid animal. She’s also constipated. And apparently carrots turn her poop bright orange? 😬 She’s a mess.

Agree sunfrogger I brought in ds2 because his temp was up to 103.5 2 nights in n a row and I wanted to make sure he didn't have an ear infection or pneumonia. Of course his fever broke that day and the classic roseola rash appeared the next morning. When ds1 had it he didn't have such as high temp but the rash was worse.
