Yes, it all started with the band aid.  It's an allergic reaction to something, we just don't have any idea as to what. He has stopped all meds, even his cholesterol meds, until we get it figured out.  Today is a week and half of the hives/rash, and he's totally over it.

Morning! I'm not sure what it says about my day, but Chase pooped during breakfast and my shirt I'd already put on was all wrinkly. I had to change Chase and iron, which of course made me late because DH is MIA in the mornings lately. Things have been good between us so I've been letting a lot of shit slide and I need to either address it or let it go.

In other news, daycare is closed on Monday so they can set up for the fall move-up. I took the day off but I haven't decided what to do with the boys yet. It's always a great day to go to a museum or zoo because it's just a random Monday, so no major crowds. But it happens once a year so I put so much pressure on myself. It's pretty ridiculous.

mwhip that’s sounds awful! I think it’s def time for the ER! Hopefully they can figure it out and give him some relief.

We had a guy come out to do some concrete work at our house. MH usually would do it himself but just doesn’t have the time, so we decided to pay someone to do it. It was supposed to be 11’ x 21’ to put a dog kennel on. When we got home yesterday the guy was gone and he only made it 11’ x 8’! He was only 13 feet short! MH was pissed! The guy is back out this morning fixing it! Concrete truck will be here this afternoon.

Now I just need to catch my cats and put them up so they don’t run through it. One is an easy catch, is sweet and loving, likes to snuggle, and comes inside occasionally. The other I have only been able to touch it 2x. Once to bring it home, and once to give it wormer and flea/tick stuff. I need to get an appointment to get them fixed but worried about even being able to catch the one. A few weeks ago I left them loose while I was painting door frames and one ran through the paint pan and then across the porch. So there are white paw prints on my deck. We plan to re-stain it soon anyway. So it’s not too big a deal. Just annoying to look at.

I'm at work. I need to check on H in a bit because he was a mess this morning. He was holding onto me for dear life when I dropped him off in his room. After I took M to her class I walked by his classroom to check on him and she had closed the door because he was crying so loudly. Poor kid. I wish I could stay home with him again.

Last day of training. I leave at 3 to go home. I’m excited to see C but it has been nice relaxing in my room whenever I feel like it.

She started okay, then started throwing up again and then all of got some appetite and hasn’t thrown up in 5 hours, so fingers crossed! She was miserable, poor thing.

Morning!

Kids were up early but both slept well so I'll take it. It's actually not too hot out yet so I think we're going to do the playground for a bit this morning. Now that the pool is out of commission they need another way to burn some energy.

Pool is now 99% empty and the crew is coming back today. Supposedly this should take a week so I'm really hoping that is the case.

Martha is sick again. I just don't knwo what's going on. She is thriving, she is getting bigger, super strong, she is just super snotty and her poor little eye was sealed shut yesterday. I put her rx ointment on her eye and I'll be scheduling a vet appointment for her. Mh has volunteered to take her this time, which is nice, but I'm worried about his information relay to the vet and from the vet to me. She also needs a booster shot for one of her vaccines, I can't recall which one...leukemia I think.

Morning. DH is on vacation from work for the rest of this week. I plan to ditch my family in a little bit to go look at Kohl’s for the rest of the picture outfits we need. We don’t have anything planned for today other than I have work tonight.

I took M to meet his teacher this morning because sometimes he has trouble adjusting and I wanted him to have more than just the orientation to meet her before school starts in 2 weeks. Well he walked in like he owned the place and hung his back pack up (he wanted to show her his dino back pack and tell her how much he likes dinosaurs) and started playing. He asked her to play with him and called her Mrs. Lastname like a big kid. I was border line tears the whole time. When did these kids get so big?! He told me when we left "Next time we go, I get out and you stay in the car. I go by myself"

Morning Ladies, I am eating a tamale for breakfast and trying to get moving. Not a whole lot on the agenda today, and I am good with it. I have a nightstand I refinished that just needs some poly and knobs, so I might work on that. A charity org I support is looking for graphic designer volunteers for a 3-5 week commitment. Trying to decide if I can eek out the time without overextending myself, since I would like to support the cause.

Poor Martha klong11. I hope the vet can see her soon and get her feeling better! You just recently adopted her, right? Could you contact the society you got her from and see if they've had any other issues?

Morning! My husband just left to go back to Africa this morning. It's sad. I had to really try to make my phone/internet less of a priority while he was here. I spend quite a bit of time reading on the board (even though I'm not a heavy poster- I always read) so I wasn't able to really do it much in the past month. We have been having a lot of issues in our marriage so I was trying to focus on us. I'll have to give you guys a short summary of all that when I feel like typing it all out

That's a good idea. Her 4 brothers and sisters were adopted the same day, so I'll see if they've heard anything from their new parents.
