Awww, poor H tgrimes. That's shitty that she called you and told you that though. lahdeedah I hope he gets over the HFM quickly! So the ER was no help. We talked to a nurse, dr and pharmacist and they were all baffled. The dr said the IV of steroids isn't much more effective than oral, so he didn't think it would help. He also thinks H may have an allergy to the steroid itself and said to stop taking it too. So basically $200 to have someone tell us to stop taking meds. So frustrating. He did give H a script for adivan, so hopefully he gets some sleep tonight. |

The kids asked for pigs in a blanket tonight, so I’m making them now with crescent rolls and smoked sausages. I know it’s regional, but isn’t there another way many of you make these? I made these last night. Easy dinner. Although I made them with hot dogs and didn't cut the crescents into smaller triangles. |

I've been preparing my house for my parents and LO coming out here. They were suppose to be here tomorrow afternoon. They are now arriving in 2 hours... luckily C has been helping so it's no so bad.

I let Josie leave the house today in a gray tank top with sharks on it, and a pair pink dinosaur leggings. I comforted myself with the idea that the pink sharks almost matched the pink pants. |

I got caramel cookie crunch and raspberry sorbet. Let me know if the coffee one is good, that was my 3rd choice. I’ve had the coffee chip one. It is delicious. The Caribbean coconut is also lovely, especially on a piece of chocolate fudge cake. I take my ice cream very seriously. No coconut in our house, Cadence is allergic. 😖 |

sands42 So far no mouth sores. When we looked in his diaper it was definitely HFM. Doc sent us home with a diaper cream so it doesn’t become yeasty. He has one to two bumps on each hand and foot but it’s not too bad. She warned it could become worse before getting better, but I’m hoping not. He can’t go back to daycare until Monday which I figured. I need to stop taking off to try to get things done. I had scheduled a half day off to be able to do a few things tomorrow. Last one or two times I did this M2 ended up sick and I didn’t get that day off kid free.

LO came home, gave me the biggest hug ever. Gave C a big hug then went over to E and gave her a gentle hug. So cute. He's grown about an inch since I saw him in July. Then asked when he can go back to grandma and grandpa's house. Then asked when he could go to Disneyland.

That must be very difficult if you’re eating out or buying anything pre-packaged. It hasn't been that bad. Most people are allergic to the egg white, which is in a lot of things. She seems to only not be able to have eggs as a whole, like you can't just fry up an egg and give it to her. Baked items, flu shots, etc. have never been an issue. Coconut has been the hardest to avoid, it's everywhere these days! |
