Hi all.

C is currently 'sweeping' my kitchen and we have some muffins in the oven.

DH left this morning early, thankfully someone drove him and the other guy going out so I didn't have to get the kids up at 5 a.m. to go to the pier. #smallblessings My dad called and I told him about how everything went down (with my H not finding out til last minute, despite this being discussed last week) and Dad was all righteous indignation and was like, "Some admiral needs to give that guy a talking-to, that can't fly, blah blah blah". LOL. I think my dad thinks admirals are just hanging out around the office waiting to school someone But the sentiment was there, which I appreciate.

No big plans today, hopefully we can swim if the weather holds up. The pool work is supposed to start this week or next, weather permitting, so we need to use it while we can!

We’re going to Home Depot and indoor playground. I’d like to get hosed out to the bike path if the weather keeps up!

Going to Disneyland today to pick up a few things. Then go to Target and start getting the house ready for LO's return on Friday.

My mom invited my cousins 8 year old to go to Mexico. He has major jealousy issues with my kids and is mean to them. I'm completely dreading this trip now and royally pissed at my mom.

Y’all are so sweet. H woke up with a low grade fever so hopefully all these meds are working. He seems happy and I’m definitely getting all the snuggles.

tgrimes, she seems fine. She couldn't really remember everything from last night due to the loopy stuff they gave her. She went to school and I told her if she starts feeling poorly or if her head starts to hurt, to let her teacher know and they can call me to come and get her.

They, of course, are doing a trial soccer class today. FX she doesn't take a ball to the face.

Good morning. tgrimes glad H got the good meds. No plans today. I’m cat sitting for my neighbor. I started yesterday but I can’t find the cat. I know she hides but she’s no where. I put out food yesterday then I went back later and she ate the food so I know she’s in the house. When back this morning to feed her again and still can’t find her. I’m going to try going without kids later. I’d feel better if I saw her.

MH is never nervous. He’s always overly confident. I’m sure they did fine. We’ll see about the layover and second flight though. He is not as patient as i am, but i know his mom will baby them once they get there.

Edit: She’s also flying back with him so today is his only solo day.

Nothing exciting happening here. Just work. When I dropped M2 off this morning, there was a notice about HFM in his room and four kids were out. I will now be paranoid for the rest of week and he will be getting a bath as soon as we get home. I really need him to not catch it before tomorrow because we have his ENT appt then.

Morning. Casual day here. I need to run to the mall this afternoon and talk to AE. I returned a pair of defective jeans and the girl ordered me a replacement pair online because they don’t sell short length in store. That was like 7/25 and I still don’t have them. She didn’t tell me they would be shipped to the store so I assumed they would come to my house. Anyways I want to get that figured out.

She’s good! She’s... a strange puppy, lol. She’s is incredibly sweet and really well behaved, super patient with the kids. She had little bouts of puppy behavior but we joke that she is an old soul. In all honesty the way she acts makes me think that she was taken from her mom way too young and I think she may have been handed a little roughly. But we love her and she’s fitting in well.

Also, they told us she was an Aussie Shepherd, and she looks like a shepherd... but she’s miniature and isn’t getting much bigger. So we think she may be mixed with something smaller!

Morning from the office! It was so nice sleeping in my own bed after not sleeping so well in the rental. I was sad to send the boys to school though, they're at such fun ages right now. Well, they are if you ignore the constant tantrums and fights. LOL.

Work is a bit of a shit show now and my team - the 2 of us product managers and our tech PM - are getting a lot of pressure to speed up our team's velocity. We're also getting a lot of external pressure from a couple of our biggest partners, who have competing interests. Nothing like coming back and diving right in.
