Weeks pregnant: 8w1d
Baby is the size of a: wild strawberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Find out
Appointments: Had my first u/s yesterday, saw the heartbeat! 164!
Symptoms: Tired, no appetite, nauseous.
Milestones: I told the ladies at my work today. They were all super excited.
Rants/Raves/Vents: My last pregnancy was so different, I felt half way normal. This one, I just do not feel like myself at all. Have barely gone to the gym at all and have been eating way out of the norm.
GTKY: What has been your favorite vacation? My mom and I went with our close family to Maui for 10 days at the beginning of the year. The flights were horrible, but it is so gorgeous, I can't wait to go back. We were literally IN THE AIR when Hawaii got the attack alert. I could not have imagined being there when that happened.

I have an OB!! It’s an hour away (not including traffic and parking downtown 😩) but I’m just so happy to have prenatal care in place. First appt Sept 10! I’m desperately hoping they’ll do an ultrasound but at this point even a Doppler check would be really appreciated.

Weeks pregnant: 11 w 0d
Baby is the size of a: lime!
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: find out.
Appointments: my first tri screening is Tuesday. I have a lot of nerves over it.
Symptoms: Still tired. Still nauseous.
Milestones: I cannot believe I’m 11 weeks.
Rants/Raves/Vents: We still have only told close family/friends. I found out this week that my MIL told her sister and best friend. And her sister told her other sisters. And I’m just annoyed. I’m not in too good of a space with her to begin with right now.
GTKY: What has been your favorite vacation? Pre-kids, probably my honeymoon to Punta Cana. With kids? Disney world for sure.

Well without further ado, it’s a healthy baby boy! We’re in total shock. We even had a girl name we were so sure it would be a third girl! 😱😀 How exciting!!!!!

Yesterday I had an appt, and they told me that the twins are separated by a membrane, which is good. I'm relieved, because I had been spiraling on complications when they aren't. They can get tangled in each other's cord, etc. Goal is to deliver at 36-38 weeks.
She said that if both were head down, I could consider a vbac, which I had totally figured was out. Not sure how I feel about that... although she said they'd probably be smaller than DD was (she was a week overdue and sunny side up). Something to think about, I guess.
Next appt September 10th for the NT scan. H is coming with me this time! I do go in next week as well, just for a blood draw for the genetic screening.

My cousin had twins her first pregnancy and delivered them vaginally. I think she was 36 or 37 weeks and she was induced because of cholestasis. They had to turn the second baby 270 degrees because he was stubborn but everything went for the most part very smoothly
