Weeks pregnant: 4+4
Baby is the size of a: speck of sawdust
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: undecided
Appointments: US and bloodwork on Thursday
Symptoms: nausea, super weirdo dreams, gigantic boobs
Milestones: today is the day I started bleeding for both losses. no bleeding today and a super dark line on a pee stick. so I’m over the first hurdle.
Rants/Raves/Vents: my DD turned 3 this past weekend! I absolutely cannot believe how fast it has gone and the extra hormones has made me a bit sappier than normal.
GTKY: What has been your favorite vacation? When I was in high school I went on a choir and band trip to Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria. I was in Europe for around month and we got to sing in a bunch of cathedrals which was quite literally a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Weeks pregnant: 8+2 with twins!!
Baby is the size of a: strawberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM with twins
Team: Finding out
Appointments: 8/30 for third u/s and first OB
Symptoms: exhausted, boobs hurt, all day nausea, headaches
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/Vents: TW- I had a little bleeding last week when I wiped one morning. Nothing since. OB said she'd prefer to wait to my appointment because it sounds like it was just irritation from my progesterone suppositories, and she doesn't want to make it more irritated. I go on and off in agreement with her. It feels like forever away!
GTKY: What has been your favorite vacation? Mexican all inclusive beach resort!

grover I'm glad it was a one time thing and I'm sure it was nothing, but I understand that I'd be paranoid too! I know two whole people who have had twins (so I'm basically an expert) but they both had bleeding in first tri and all was fine.

grover, I'm glad it has stayed away, how unnerving! I had the tiniest bit of spotting after intercourse around 6ish weeks along but nothing since.

Weeks pregnant: 9w 4d
Baby is the size of a: Cherry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Find out
Appointments: nothing until next month
Symptoms: constant nausea, constipation
Milestones: I made it passed my first ultrasound which is when both my losses were discovered. I probably won't be completely relieved until I have a baby in my arms but this was a huge step.
Rants/Raves/Vents: The doctor called and I have a yeast infection that I had no idea I had. So I've got stuff to treat that. I need to go do blood work this week. I also have to a 24 hour urine catch at some point but it I'll have to wait until I treat the yeast infection.
GTKY: What has been your favorite vacation? After my losses but before DD we went on a cruise that left from Venice and went through Croatia, Greece and Turkey and then we took the train to Rome and spent a few days there. We went with a group of friends. It was amazing. The food was amazing. The wine was amazing. In Venice one night we found this little restaurant tucked away and the guy brought out a bunch of fish and was like "I cook this fish for you!" Best fish ever.

Weeks pregnant: 8+1 with an EDD of 3/31/19
Baby is the size of a: Raspberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM, third pregnancy
Team: Finding out (H and I finally talked about this)
Appointments: Next OB appt is 9/14 where I will actually meet my OB.
Symptoms: Tired, more nausea, sore nips wax and wane, bloating, getting cold
Milestones: Making it to 8+1 and we got to see a heartbeat last Friday!
Rants/Raves/Vents: OB’s office said no US until I’m almost 20 weeks. I can’t wait anywhere near that long to see the baby again. I’m going to go to a local place and pay cash. I’m probably going to do this every 3 weeks or so. I’m still worried something will happen to this baby. I have no reason to think that, and we saw the HB. Ugh PGAL!
GTKY: What has been your favorite vacation? Alaska...so gorgeous! The food was great, the scenery was fantastic, and the people were so nice. We can’t wait to go back!

remi, I had a period of time during my last pregnancy when I almost forgot I was pregnant because all of my symptoms had disappeared. I had to ask my doc at the next appointment, are you sure everything is okay? It threw me for a loop.

Hi ladies, I am so excited to join y'all!
Weeks pregnant: 7w3d
Baby is the size of a: blueberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: Undecided, I don't want to find out, MH does
Appointments: OB 8/27
Symptoms: Exhausted, heartburn
Milestones: We saw the heartbeat yesterday, it was so amazing! And I'm pretty much graduated from my RE with the exception of continuing blood work to see when we can start easing off the progesterone.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm just so relieved after yesterday's appointment, there were two beta draws that the doctor was concerned about (rising but not doubling) and I've had two pretty bad bleeding incidents.
GTKY: What has been your favorite vacation? NYC over Thanksgiving, MH and I went for our anniversary a few years ago and we just had so much fun. Seeing the city decorated for Christmas was really cool but generally speaking beach vacations are my go to.

Weeks pregnant: 5 weeks 4 days
Baby is the size of a: sesame seed
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: undecided
Appointments: not until September 13th!
Symptoms: tired, some nausea and food aversions, feeling lightheaded
Milestones: none
Rants/Raves/Vents: I’m having a hard time waiting for my first appointment. So far this pregnancy, my nausea has been way less than my previous pregnancies, which of course is making me nervous that something is wrong. I couldn’t eat the shrimp we had for dinner last night and had to have a peanut butter sandwich, so I’m taking that as a good sign.
GTKY: What has been your favorite vacation? By far my favorite vacation was my honeymoon. We spent 3 weeks on the Amalfi Coast. It was heaven.

I'll just be over here dreaming of all these vacations! I went to the amalfi coast when I was a poor college student and loved it. I'd love to go back as a "real" adult.
I was at the point in my travels where I was weighing the cost benefit of lunch versus an audio guide versus a metro ticket with my last 5 euros or whatever. Usually food won, because food. Also I figured I could always walk or read up in a guidebook in the gift shop, so no audio guides needed, lol.

I had my ultrasound this morning. We were able to see the heartbeat which was such a relief. But then the NP said it was a little low, 78, and we should do another ultrasound but then told me my insurance wouldn’t cover it and everything is probably fine. So I’m still freaking out.

OMG OMG yay bex15! Congratulations!! I’m so excited for you! Yay for a heartbeat snickerdoodle! I also had an US at 5+5, and had a slow HB. I had another scan last Friday at 7+5, and saw a perfect heartbeat of 154. I’m hoping you see a great HB at your next scan!

bex15 I would like to do another ultrasound, but the NP said it isn’t an option. It seemed like they have to get pre approval. They said they can check with the doplar at my next appointment, but may be too early. orangehibiscus that’s for sharing that helps to hear.

Hearing that our baby had a slow HB made me nervous too. Hugs! Is there a freestanding US place you could go and pay OOP for a scan?

Hugs snickerdoodle, it’s never easy to have a worry like that. FWIW everything I read before my scan at 5+4 said to anticipate a low/irregular HB and just the presence of one at all was to be taken as a positive. I know it’s just not that simple to tell your brain that, but I’m going to remain very hopeful for your little bean. I hope they get you in for another scan, it’s not fair to leave you in limbo.

Thanks bex15, orangehibiscus, and Tlex for the support. It really helps to have people that understand how anxiety provoking pregnancy can be. My husband is such an optimist about it I feel like he doesn’t understand. I am considering doing an oop scan if I can find one in the area. Smallish town.
