I just bought some. I'll be getting them in about a week. I look forward to your review! These are the ones I bought. I needed ones that were dishwasher safe because I'm lazy. Does anyone here use reusable sandwich bags? I wash and reuse the Ziploc ones, but I'm looking for non plastic ones. guster I feel like you maybe use some? I just bought some. I'll be getting them in about a week. Can you use these to freeze food too? Than I’m intrigued, for most other things I use boxes or foil. ETA Posted to soon, you answered my question!

C wears a size 6 pants and a 7 top. I think he is going to need bigger pants for the fall/winter. Also his feet are between a 1 & 2 right now. Beast kid!

So we’re trying to get C to nap in her crib, and after six months at pretty much exclusively napping on my chest.... it’s not going well. I was rocking her to sleep and she was just dozing off when I heard something downstairs at the front door. My first thought was “shit, what if someone’s breaking in” follow d immediately by “I will kill them with my bare hands if they wake his baby up.”
It was just the mailman dropping off a package. His life is spared because he didn’t ring the bell.

My life has been forever changed for the better. I've discovered a bunch of old Lifetime movies like Homeless to Harvard and made-for-tv gems like Intensity (Dean Koontz book made into crappy movie with John C. McGinley as a psycho killer) are on YouTube.

Well shit.
Dude still has one ear tube that hasn't fallen out so he's going to need surgical removal and possibly a skin graft to close the hole.
Of course we would be those outliers. These ear/adenoids surgeries alone are going to cost us $4,000+ this year. I hope Dude doesn't freak out. He didn't really seem to get it when the ENT was discussing the process because he was distracted.

cagoldi oh no, is that really necessary? I was nine when the ENT doctor removed the remaining tube from my ear. I hated the guy because it hurt like hell, but no others procedures where necessary. Can’t it stay put for a little longer?

Yikes cagoldi! Is that out of pocket dollars? Yes. Gotta love our amazing healthcare system, right? Over the last five years we've had over $60,000 medical expenses (our share to pay, not total bills). And you know that's not counting the $15,000/month they still want to charge me for my infusion drugs.

Can’t it stay put for a little longer? No, they're worried that it will rupture an eardrum and cause permanent damage/hearing loss so they want it out ASAP. They're calling me Monday to schedule, and the doc said he is going to try to do it in September.

You’re either in my brain or in my Amazon cart because I just put these in there last night: www.amazon.com/BioBag-Resealable-Compostable-Sandwich-Count/dp/B00INC4GQQLooks like they have different sizes and are well reviewed. I know they’re not reusable, but they are biodegradable which is a step in the right directionI haven’t had to start packing lunches yet so I don’t know what I’ll think of it. I prefer aluminum foil to wrap sandwiches, but I’d like to find something more green (hence the search for the bags and even possibly a Tupperware system)

Those are good bags guster, I used to use that brand for garbage bags until mainstream companies got on the earth bandwagon and I liked them.

The rain is seriously cramping my style. It rained at the start of practice yesterday, so MH was delayed and I ended up having to get the boys. It’s doing the same thing today. I had grand plans of getting groceries and going home to start laundry.
Crisis averted. He just called and said he can still get them. 🙌🏽

My 4 year old boy and 8 year old girl both wear size 6 clothes now. I just bought like 7 pairs of size 6 pants! I don't think we are ready for zipper and button though, so I'm a bit concerned about finding jeans that work.. hoping cat and Jack add the pull on ones to the boys section soon (and have a sale). B is in 6's, too. I really like Levi's for him and they offer adjustable waists and a snap with zipper. B's been wearing them for the last couple years and can do them without issue. They're around $20/pair, so not cheap-cheap but not crazy. He either wears the 505 or the 514, can't remember--whatever the slimmer cut is. I can check tomorrow if you're interested.

Also, hi! The past couple days have been nuts, sorry I keep popping in and out.
So yesterday was the change of command/retirement ceremony at my H's work. It was really moving to see the retirement ceremony for the outgoing guy...30 yr. + navy career, really impressive. Watching him walk out with his family and being saluted for the last time by everyone brought tears to my eyes. There was an admiral there and all the speakers did a great job. Just a cool experience. So that was that, plus a reception afterward. Then last night was the party, thrown by the new CO, at a restaurant/bar.
Last night C came down with a fever and was fussy; first time she's ever had one but thankfully it broke this morning. I'm on high alert for HFM or similar but so far no other symptoms or issues. She seemed to be feeling better this afternoon so we let her swim, she ate a bit, and went to bed normally. Fingers crossed she'll wake up feeling better tomorrow.

Also, I bought my first Christmas present tonight...PBK has tons of stuff on special, and something I'd looked at popped up on FB. This might be a new record for me, I think previously the earliest I've ever shopped was in late November
