I’m not due to be into work until after lunch but I have a lot to do so I’ll be in by 9. It was nice taking my time exercising and getting ready this morning so I’ll probably do that again tomorrow and go in a little late.

Morning! It's my Friday today. I'm just getting through the day and then running errands. We are hosting my niece's baptism at our house on Saturday, so I need to get ready for that.

Morning! Home with the kids today and not sure what we’ll do. Dh has been gone a lot this week and n was very sad when he left this morning so he’s going to skip what he has tonight to be home.

Hi girls.
X ate an actual meal yesterday at school apparently (Uncrustable, tofu, grapes, cherry tomatoes, and string cheese). First time ever. Pete kept insisting he's a slow-starter and thought he would really pick up around his second birthday and it's looking like he might be right. I really hope that's the case.
Last night at the park, Atticus let X take turns on his scooter and X looked at him and said, "Brother, happy! I feel happy!" It was the cutest.

I slept 9 hours last night and I'm still freaking exhausted. Laying in bed snuggling the boys before going to Verizon for a phone. Hopefully the boys are on their best behavior..

The kids are eating breakfast, and then we’re making a quick grocery store run. Looks like another beautiful day on tap. Both kids decided yesterday they were afraid of the pool so I got in twice to help them get in and then they screamed in my face that they didn’t want to go. That was fun. Hoping for a better today.

Hey ladies. Working from home today. The VPN is so slow! I can fold a load of laundry while Adobe decides to let me sign a document. It's gonna be a long day. At least my laundry will get done.

I'm here, at work and about to start browsing for a new purse. I thought I had it narrowed down to Kate Spade with the surprise sale the other day, but decided not to and go with the better choice of Matt and Nat. Oh and I'll try and do some work in between online shopping.

That's great cagoldi! guster, B who LOVES baths decided he didn't want to take a bath the other night and literally screamed at the top of his lungs through the whole thing. Even S was looking at him like "What the hell???" I'm hoping it was a 1 time thing and tonight is better because that was not delightful. |

vino, I need a new purse too but am unsure what I want. I have become the most indecisive person over the past year or so and I just can't pull the trigger on anything. It's super annoying.

I plan to do some online shopping over here too. I need a new couch.
It's been an unpacking frenzy. We're getting there. Now if I can just convince my husband that since we don't own a CD player anymore and most likely our next new cars won't have CD players that maybe he can cut down on his massive collection.
The girls have been so hyper since the move because they're excited to be in the house. I needed them to chill out the other night so I put the Care Bears movie on (80s version, #2). They settled right down. MH said they watched some more the next morning and Madison said, "There's just something about the Care Bears that's special." I was a total Care Bear kid so that make me feel warm and fuzzy.

inthekitty I love that they loved the Care Bears! M wants nothing to do with my care bear and it's always made me sad. My parents still have the care bear glasses that you used to get from the gas stations. They've always loved watching the movies (although for some reason never pick out to watch them, I usually choose and put it on for them), but they've never cared about my Care Bears stuffies which made me sad. They are finally showing them a bit of love. They were driving me crazy in the car the other day and I started playing the Growing Up song on YouTube and it was almost like I just drugged them. They settled right down and sat quietly and listened. So the magic of the Care Bears is stronger for me now as a parent because anything that can calm my hell beasts is truly wonderful. |
