Morning! I'm pretty zombied this morning as baby girl woke me up at 2.30 and 4.30. I then had to get her up at 8, cheeky monkey!
We're off to Edinburgh today so we'll need to play around with meal times a bit to fit with the flight and then the hour time difference.
My first thought is to push things forward a bit so she goes to bed for 7ish UK time (so 6 here, an hour earlier than normal), or should I keep her on home time? We're only there 4 days but it is going to be awkward for our dinners etc if she goes to bed at 8...
WWYD?

E was up from 2:30-3:30 for some reason and I didn’t fall back asleep until 4. So the treadmill didn’t happen. I will try again tomorrow. I will say, just eating better the last few days has really made a difference in my bloat.
Today we are doing a quick visit to the new daycare provider. I want to go over a few things and let Emmett get a chance to become familiar with her. Other than that just some laundry to get ready to go out of town tomorrow.

Waffle, is she really set on her schedule? Or is she more flexible? Like DS2 has to be in bed and asleep by 8pm or there's hell to pay. I know some kids are more flexible than that. I would say keep her on her schedule since you will only be there for 4 days and by the time she's adjusted, you'll be heading back home.

Ds2 woke up early but he's almost ready for a nap so eh. I'm going to run out to Target/Carter's to pick up a gift for my friend and her baby girl when he wakes up. They were team green and both really thought it was a boy ha ha. So they were very surprised.

C was up twice last night and then up for the day at 5. Our coffee maker was on the fritz so I had to stop at Starbucks. Walking in to work now, blah.

I’m back to work after several days off- but at least it’s already Thursday!!
DS1 had a fever last night. The fever was gone this morning but then he was complaining of neck pain and refusing to take Tylenol. My niece got sick on our vacation with a fever, headache and vomiting so I am assuming he got it too. Fx he gets over it quickly and doesn’t puke on my mom!!
DS2 sleep regressed- it was a nice week of one or no wake ups, we’re back to 3+ 😴 I feel bad letting him CIO since his teeth are coming in so I guess I’ll just buckle down and know that this too shall pass!

Waffle have a good time! sarahandben108 I noticed the same thing about my bloat yesterday too. Tomorrow's another day for the treadmill, I'll make you a deal, if you get up and use the treadmill I'll do a BBM workout before I leave for the beach. I figure if I put it out there I'm more likely to do it lol. Good morning, I'm tired. I think I'm finally getting my PP which would explain the exhaustion this week. Beach day tomorrow with friends so at least today is my Friday!

DS loves his bamba puffs. And he loved play in our play kitchen yesterday. He spent 30 mins just picking up all the play food!

pootsen, only liked for the Starbucks. Hi everyone, not much to report on over here. Regular night last night. Went for our typical walk to pick some blackberries this morning. Jojo is napping and I'm being useless.

With DD a sleep specialist came to my mommy group and said to always try to keep them on their own schedule, unless you are pushing more than two time zone earlier (her example was when going East, always stay on CA time. If going to Hawaii, move to their time). When we go to the Midwest, I try to keep the kids on CA time, so their bedtimes move to 9:30, 10:30 local time.

Hi ladies! J had his 9 month appointment today and he has thrush. 🤦🏻♀️ I noticed the white in his mouth yesterday... I’m not amused. Fortunately I don’t have any symptoms right now, but I need to be treated anyway. H and I are going to see Dispatch tonight, I’m so excited!

Thanks for the advice guys! Sorry I've been MIA after posting, I'm only just catching up now as I have sent H for fish and chips.
She's normally very regular in her routine, seems like a body clock thing, but travelling... 🤣🤷♀️🤷♀️
I was going to keep her on schedule, especially as she didn't get her normal 12-2 nap (too much excitement at the airport) but then she slept almost an hour on the plane from 4 and H's aunt, uncle and cousin were waiting for us at the house...
Cue more excitement, baby passed around like a joint and just like that we knew bath was not happening and she ended up having her bottle on uk time instead of home time. She fell asleep later too, so the equivalent of 8.45 instead of 7 😴😔
I'll try to rectify timing to home time tomorrow. I do hope that she sleeps in a bit though!
It's only an hour but I sure am feeling it.

L had his 9 month check up this morning. He gained like 3 lbs from the last appt. He is now 18 lb 12 oz and 27.8 in tall. I asked about what he recommended for all of our sleep issues and I think I am going to attempt to start sleep training tonight while my H is OOT. He is the one that doesn't want to do it and I see no other choice at this point. Hopefully I can stay strong and not go in and get him.

Dh just got snippy with me because I apparently distracted him from his video game when I was looking at a picture of dogs on his dual screen. "Do you not see the cut scene?" Um IDK what a cut scene (or maybe screen?) Is ... So I'm done parenting for the day. He's on his own for the 20 minutes of dealing with the toddler before bed.

Super cute grumpycat - and they will get so much use. FFTC - we sometimes spend all day in “sleepers” depending upon what we have planned!

Ds2 spends most of the day in his jammies because they protect his skin when he crawls. Dnw to buy long sleeve/pants stuff if he's gonna grow out of it before it's cold. Sleepers work!

FX spacecadet. I’m almost to the point of sleep training too. Of course now I’m feeling bad about his teething pain. It’s always something. grumpycat those are so cute. One of my friends has a girl 6 weeks older than B so any time I see a cute girl outfit that makes me sad about not having a girl baby to dress I just buy it for her instead. 😇

Hey. Bedtime is wearing on me. Putting 3 kids to bed is no joke. Lol.
But we are heading to the lake tomorrow and I’m super excited. We haven’t been all summer. There’s always so many people and I’m finding my 5.5yo gets super overwhelmed there with so many people so I was *that* sister that asked my parents if it could just be us. 😬 they were cool with it. My sisters- I’m sure they’re talking shit behind me. Lol. Oh well. 🤷🏼♀️ They go every other weekend.
On more exciting news- my sister got engaged! I’m so happy for her. They have 2 kids. They’ve been together for ever. And even better- I told her I’d love to be in her bridal party if she wanted me to but I was not offended at all if I wasn’t. Phew. She was happy to hear. I know she didn’t want more than 3, but they’re are 4 of us sisters and I know she wanted some Of her close friends but didn’t want to leave some of us out. Phew. I’ll help her with everything I can. Just don’t want to actually be up there. Lol.

C has been screaming his head off for the last hr. I tried tagging in H but the baby just starts crying again every time he puts him down. Gave ibu already so I’ll try Tylenol and more nursing next.
