S has been complaining for the past few days that his butt itches very badly. Its happened occasionally in the past, usually when he hasn't been wiping well. I keep checking, and that's not the case. I wiped it with a warm washcloth and that seems to help, but only momentarily. Any clue why this is happening? It was so bad this morning he was almost in tears. I feel badly for him. And we're gonna be on a plane where he can't get up and move about or scratch it, that does not sound fun. Could it possibly be a hemorrhoid from pushing too hard/constipation? A girl on my other bmb’s daughter got perianal strep but I think the area might have been red along with itchy. I mean, maybe? But to my knowledge he's not been constipated. He hasn't been complaining of a belly ache or anything. We leave for vacation Friday so I'll be with him 24/7 and be able to really keep tabs on when he poops. |

jewels, maybe give him a little pad of paper and stickers to keep in his cubby. When he poops at school, have him go to the cubby and put a sticker in the book. That way you'll know when he is going.

That way you'll know when he is going. That's a good idea. I've never really cared before b/c he's always been so regular. It kind of felt nice to finally not be thinking about someone else's bathroom habits! |

joelies, yikes that's not cool at all. I would be massively irritated if Tim did that. Every once in a while he forgets to pay his Netflix account and I find that annoying enough. Personally I'm old fashioned and use a planner, but could he put a reminder on his phone calendar to pay the bill a couple days before it's due? Otherwise I'd definitely go onto autopay.

OMG they won't reconnect us until tomorrow - apparently the latest they'll reconnect is 2:30pm. They disconnected us later than that. DH was in a tizzy and I calmly told him to go downstairs and start the generator. It's too hot to be without AC and we have a shit ton of packing to do tonight!!

And now the generator isn't working... It ran for about 2 minutes and stopped and now he can't get it back on. OMG will someone bail me out if I end up in jail tonight? |

Dh and I are watching Great British Bake Off finale, our living room sounds are very weird 😂😂😂. Ours won’t be available on PBS until Saturday. No spoilers please, but I’m hoping that one of the two younger boys is the winner! |

Generator is running (that's a whole other story where he should have listened to me to begin with) but we have so much packing to do. And I will do it all or it won't get done. I can tell you whose husband is not getting any tonight... But he'll live, so really he's pretty lucky.

My phone wouldn't charge so I plugged it in to a different charger and the cord started getting hot. I took it out and the charger was partly melted and my phone never said it was charging. So I tried a third charger and same thing.. So apparently I need a new phone. That should be super fun tomorrow with both boys.. I can't work without my phone so I have to get one ASAP.

flamingo I haven’t finished reading yet, but why is he getting a sleep study? What are his symptoms? I’ve been worrying about O’s sleep recently which is why I’m asking. Since he was probably 2.5 - 3 he's been a snorer, and it's gotten worse in the last 6 months. His tonsils are huge--one actually overlaps the other. Other symptoms: mouth-breathing, hypo-nasal quality to his voice, very restless sleeper, occasional pauses in his breathing while sleeping. Our pedi and ENT in FL ruled out allergies, and we were all kind of hoping as he grew, that his throat and nasal cavities would grow and make more room for his tonsils and adenoids, but that hasn't happened. So basically, the ENT here is theorizing that his large tonsils are contributing to obstructive sleep apnea, but they don't want to go in and put him through anesthesia and surgery to remove them unless they can conclusively say that his sleep is truly being disrupted by the snoring, etc. Hence the sleep study. |

O does all the sleeping things you mentioned (snoring, restless) too. I’ve also heard him stop breathing but he was sick so I’m not sure how often that is happening. He also grinds his teeth when he is sleeping. Sometimes his snoring sounds like he is trying to breathe through a straw.
His pediatrician felt that his tonsils weren’t that bad and didn’t recommend i take him to an ent. But he did say if i observe the breathing thing when he’s not sick then take him to an ent.
I think i want to take him regardless.
