I want to like that shirt, but that weird hanging piece has me like  . I have broad shoulders and I think the slight puff sleeve would bring that out in the worst way. It is cute on the model, though. vino That's what got me as well. Would I be awkwardly trying to move it or throw it over my shoulder, would it be swaying as I walk, I do know for sure that I couldnt eat soup on that day. |

Our refrigerator broke this week  So sad. Looks like we'll need to buy a new one which is just annoying. Our appliances are all cream right now. Do we go stainless or something and have the appliances not match? We can't afford to update all of them at this point. There are some cream refrigerators out there, but they all look kinda cheap? I actually like the cream color in our kitchen. We have cream cabinets, brown counters, medium hardwood floors. |

vino , It's the kind of shirt I think would look good on others, but not on me. But I just saw your post above and given your "stats" I think you might be one of the ones it would look good on! ETA I just saw wine's post and realized I read that as your current stats, not your desired stats... oops!! FTR, I'd like that too, but neither number is attainable for me!

Cadence had her OT (complete waste of time) and her foot measurement appointments this morning. Then, I was able to get her in school in time for Splash Day, which is great because if she missed it I was going to have to take her to the pool and Mama isn't fit for that today.
The OT in that office doesn't work with feet issues, mostly hands, and not developmental issues, more along the lines of injuries or something. She basically just went over basic sensory scenarios, which I said yes or no to and came to the conclusion is probably wasn't a sensory issue (no shit) and that if the SMOs don't fix the toe walking, then we should go somewhere else for a full evaluation.
She also threw in there that Cadence's picky eating might be a sensory issue...um, no pretty sure my kid just wants to control everything....but now it's in my head that I should get it checked because she mentioned mispronunciation of letter sounds and words, which Cadence has some of, which could possibly relate back to all the ear issues from early on. Thanks lady, now I'm spiraling!
Then we went for measurements and Cadence got her feet wrapped up in casts and got to pick what design she wanted on the outside of the braces (blue background with cats). She said they should be ready in 3 weeks. Had I known it would take that long, I would have brought her in last month so that she could be in them already.
So now I'm at work, patiently waiting until 4 when I can leave.

klong11 I'm clearly no expert, but since I've got one kid with sensory issues and the other that's Spirited, from everything you've ever said she sounds a lot more like the latter. Kids can be both, and often are, but I don't think that seems to be the case for C.

I'm also not in love with the counters, so hopefully at some point that will be replaced too. I'll have to take a picture when I get home and post it. |

cagoldi, I'm sure that's right. When I dropped her off I was talking to her teacher about all the questions they had asked at therapy and we were scoffing, like, psh, her spatial awareness is fine, she doesn't have those issues, then we look up right as she ran smack into a chainlink fence. Like straight for it, didn't even try to stop. Then she hopped up, yelled, "I'm fine! I'm good!" and ran off. She's something else. LOL

Also hi. It's my Friday and I'm working from home to start packing. Except I have meetings all afternoon and haven't even started, so apparently the boys will be picked up late. Eh, it happens. Colin gets mad when he thinks he's being picked up early, so no harm done.

S has been complaining for the past few days that his butt itches very badly. Its happened occasionally in the past, usually when he hasn't been wiping well. I keep checking, and that's not the case. I wiped it with a warm washcloth and that seems to help, but only momentarily. Any clue why this is happening? It was so bad this morning he was almost in tears. I feel badly for him. And we're gonna be on a plane where he can't get up and move about or scratch it, that does not sound fun. Could it possibly be a hemorrhoid from pushing too hard/constipation? A girl on my other bmb’s daughter got perianal strep but I think the area might have been red along with itchy. |

Personally I want black stainless when we upgrade We wanted the black stainless but ended up with the regular because there was a scratch on one of the floor models and you could see regular stainless. So I asked if it was how they all were, just a coating or if it was just the floor model. He said they're all like that and if you scratch it that's it.. They don't make a fix yet since they're so new. |

Hey. We went to the zoo this morning with MIL, per her request. It was cool, but humid. The girls were mostly behaved but of course H was having her moments of not listening. Now it’s nap time. It is supposed to rain again this afternoon/evening but it hasn’t started yet. Solo parenting tonight probably because DH has softball.
