As the topic says..... got back baby’s results and basically everything is normal including her hemoglobin. Dude was like “I guess our machine here in the office is on the fritz!” 😐

Normal working Wednesday here. The high school cheerleaders are having a fundraiser where kids 3-12ish can come learn a cheer tonight and tomorrow and then go on the field Friday at the football game. DD1 is so excited to be a cheerleader. H and I know a lot of the girls because we’ve taught them at some point so it will be fun to see them in another capacity outside the classroom.
As per the norm for a little sibling, DD2 will just tags along, probably unfazed by it all.

Yesterday was a terrible parenting day, I lost my cool more than I’d like and the 3 year old was not great. But today has been fantastic everyone woke up in the right side of the bed and we are currently at the library.

Great news bootsorhearts1!! We are having a pretty good Wednesday over here. E slept until 9 am (what the eeffff) so I guess we are doing one nap today? I just pushed her and put her down at 1 pm so I'm hoping she will take at least a 2 hour nap here. If not, we may have a questionably tired baby by bedtime. I'm still trying to get a tooth picture, but she's pretty protective of it ha. I'll definitely be back to upload some HDBD pictures though!

I'm having a not great momming week. My children aren't sleeping, so I'm cranky, the 3 year old is threenagering, and i just desperately need to get away from everyone. My big escape this week will be my optometrist appointment tomorrow.

@ trinitrotoluene Solidarity like. I’m currently at the OB/GYN as my escape.

August Blooms and trinitrotoluene , I'm struggling too. I haven't been very patient with DS1 and LO is giving me a run for my money, he is just into everything. DH gets home about 7 so I have help getting DS1 bathed and in bed, but everything else (mornings, dropoffs, pickups, all meals, etc etc) is on me this time of year and I'm not in my 'football season' groove yet. Return of Aunt Flo isn't helping anything.

cythe I hear ya on the teeth. I’ve been trying to look or feel for that’s going on with her top teeth but she has learned to shake her head NO and she does that when I try to look so I kinda feel like I have to respect the NO.

August Blooms no, that is sad. You need to go get a pedicure or something. trinitrotoluene you too or at least get 20 minutes to drink wine on the bath or take a hot shower and use up all the hot water!

The smoke is so bad here today. Air quality warnings of 10+ (off the chart bad), woke up to an orange/yellow sky and it was so dark it was like the sun wasn’t up yet. We are hiding inside but we have had so many days cooped up that my kids and dog are kinda losing it

doodlemommy sorry if I missed it before but will you all be in danger from the fires if they keep moving? I haven’t followed the news too closely lately so I’m not sure on the status of it all. Blanket and pillow forts kept DD1 occupied during all our snow and ice days this winter but I know what you mean about stir crazy!

bootsorhearts1 The dr was running late so I got a solid hour to catch up here and read my book. DD1 is back at daycare tomorrow so things will be better. doodlemommy That’s terrible, I saw BC declared a state of emergency so hopefully they can get some extra resources and rain.

Thankfully no, we are very far away but once the smoke rolls over the mountains and into the prairies (where I am) it just lingers. Fingers crossed for rain!

I’m not in Calgary but the current AQI is 178. So not quite as bad as some places but still terrible. I really hope they get some rain in BC, and some rain here would probably help clear things up. But no rain in the forecast here at all

But no rain in the forecast here at all 178 is still bad, but not as serious as in the 200s. Over here, anything over 200 means everyone stays inside, 199 - 150 means kids aged 6 and below must stay inside and older kids can only have outdoor activities (no running) for no more than 30 min, 149 - 100 means outdoor play is limited to 30 min, but no restrictions on activity type. Below 100 has no restrictions. We all wear N99 rated masks outdoors anytime the AQI gets above 130 over here.
