How’s it going?

I’m feeling “meh” today. Just had a little breakdown to dh about how overwhelmed I am because we are making ourselves too busy lately. It’s his personality to go, go, go but I’m much more of an introvert so I’m at my max.

The rest of the week is super busy so hopefully we can start to slow down next week and get back into a routine. My babysitter will be here 3 out of 5 nights and i just want to be home.

I didn't sleep well last night and am just exhausted. I need to get moving or I'll sit all day.. We had plans to go to the museum with a friend but I don't feel up to driving down town and dealing with all the other kids. Luckily she feels the same way. I think we're going to just meet at a park and have a picnic lunch.

Morning! Had a quick lunch with my sister in between, a meeting with a builder and my aunt is coming over in a bit. So yeah we’re back home. Currently trying to plan the rest of the freakin year 😖.

Morning. J has been having a quick wake up early AM the last couple nights and it’s messing with me, 4.26am is not a time I want to see, especially when my alarm is set for 5:15am for BBM. Blerg.

Scrolling through IG last night and my cousin posted a video of her Dad(my Dad's brother) playing the accordion. I lost it. It looked exactly like my Dad, (who also played the accordion). Even Cadence looked over and was all, "Is that Grandpa?!?!"

I’m at the pedi’s with M2 for a follow up to check his ears. They sent in a referral for an ENT. I googled the office and they have horrible reviews so I’ll be asking for a different referral.

Going to work after. It shouldn’t be too busy and I need to get some personal stuff done, so hoping I can do that with minimal interruptions.

After talking with her teacher I found out the transitions were in fact pushed up a week, the and of summer party is this Friday, and hey, don't forget to sign up to bring a snack.
I asked her how it went getting Cadence to go to the other class....
She had to ask her nicely to just go for an hour, try it out, for her, please.
After the hour Cadence came back and was like, "ok, I did it."
She said great, now you have to do it again tomorrow.
Cadence looked at her and said, "Again? Seriously??"
So...hopefully, it goes ok today.

Morning! It's my last in-office day before vacation so clearly my focus is on a packing list instead of actual work. One of my favorite coworkers is visiting from NH this week so a few of us are going out to dinner tonight, so I dropped the boys off this morning. They're so crazy and exhausting, but also so fun right now. I love watching them interacting, they're both so goofy. Just adds to how much I'm looking forward to vacation!!

Mom is driving; we got on the road before 5:30. Both kids were up late so thankfully they slept for a good bit this morning.

joelies, where are you going on vaca?

lahdeedah, I wish you were local, my ENT was my favorite of all the dr's I've seen yet. He was very thorough, and explained everything so well. He called me personally the evening of the surgery to check on B. He was amazing!

As for me, yesterday I saw my friend's baby and I am so madly in love. He's perfect. Definitely made me sad that we will not be having anymore (maybe that should go in the confessions thread).

jewels - We're heading up to Maine, to Old Orchard Beach. My Mom has cousins up there so I spent tons of time up there as a kid. We're renting a 2 bedroom condo right across from the boardwalk so it'll be all amusement rides, water slides, and beach trips. I'm really looking forward to it.

Today is DS1’s 11th birthday! I can’t believe he’s 11 already. DH took off work and we are taking a few of his friends to Dave & Busters. I can’t stop thinking about how he will be able to drink legally before C is 11.
