Who's on the sickie train with me? When does your nausea strike? What are you doing to relieve it? (looking for more ideas to try...) Does anything help?

Luckily I've had a much easier time so far this time than with DS. I swear by not getting too hungry and most importantly 1/2 tab of unisom (doxylamine). before bed. It is an ingredient in diclegis so it is considered safe.

*raises hand* mine struck about 8 weeks. I have not actually thrown up but for one week I was queasy 24/7. I am now taking Zofran every morning and as needed during the day. Usually I'm ok just having the morning dose. I tried to skip it Wednesday and paid for it. I did not have much morning sickness work DS so it's new to me.

I'm also taking zofran. The nausea/dry heaving is constant and unbearable without it. I take one first thing in the AM right when I open my eyes and I wait like a half hour before getting out of bed. That seems to get me past the worst part of the day... the nausea and food aversions are still there all day long, but it's at least bearable.
I find that eating at least every 2 hours has been helping. If I go longer, my stomach gets empty and then the real bad nausea kicks in. Jolly ranchers worked when I was preg with DD, but now they make me want to vomit.

Mine is getting a tad better but is still here. I've never thrown up. It's been more of a lingering, consistent nausea.
When I'm hungry I feel nauseous and it's worse the later in the day. I.e. By night time I'm feeling green.
Pretzel sticks sometimes help when I'm hungry/nauseous and I suck on the ginger candies but they're not magical.
I was prescribed diclegis which has not helped much.

I'm here too, no fun I've had all day constant nausea for a few weeks now but no actual vomiting until this week. Vomiting has only been in the mornings but by the time night comes around I feel absolutely terrible. Nothing sounds good to eat at all and I'm basically forcing some sort of bland carb down. I don't have a doctors appointment until next Wednesday and if it doesn't get better by then I'm going to ask for diclegis again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I get nauseous when I get too hungry, and sometimes at night around bedtime. I usually eat a snack or suck on some candy and it goes away.

I've read that you can make a DIY zofran. Vitamin B12 and something else.... supposedly works the same. Anyone try it?

The nausea was unbearable at the beginning. It has since calmed down but still randomly happens during the day. I have yet to have a day when I didn't feel nauseous.

It was all day at the beginning, but coming and going in spurts now. But it's stronger now in the spurts I think 😣. No puking yet, so not sure I will.
Ginger ale helped at the beginning, trying to eat smaller portions more frequently (but sometimes when hunger finally struck I did not abide by this rule and always regretted it), candys to suck on. I don't know, nothing really makes it go away. My dr told me to sleep as much as I can lol.

I didn't have any nausea with DS, so this is new to me. Haven't puked but just feel pukey anytime I'm hungry. Luckily I don't have food aversions (at least yet), so for me just eating makes me feel better. I'm also having indigestion which is new as well.

This pregnancy is very different from my last one. Last one I was throwing up early and often.
This time I feel sick far more frequently but only have thrown up a few times. Although yesterday was pretty bad. I'm not sure if I'm just staring to get into the peak or if it's just going to be like this for awhile. 🤷🏻♀️

I am usually a big meat eater but steak/beef sounds like the grossest thing ever during this pregnancy.

I was never nauseous with my boys. Comes and goes. Some days just a low lingering feeling all day and others I'm dry heaving and carrying a plastic bag everywhere. Hard candies, gum, crackers help.

+1 to be nauseous when hungry. I did throw up once but I think that had more to do with my headache and being hot! Who knows but glad it was a one time thing.

Add me to the list. I have already lost 2 kilo. I can not eat anything except peanut butter or buttered pasta. I can't wait for my dr appt on Monday. Hopefully I can get some relief. I'm also pretty sure I'm dehydrated. I can't stand for more than 10 min without passing out.

I have zofran for the days i need it, but at 11w3d it seems to be slowly improving. I can drink coffee again, and don't seem to need the meds as much. (I'm not having any vomiting or heaves, just nausea that makes it hard to function or focus at times.) Mostly I'm okay if I make sure not to go too long without eating, and don't OVEReat in response to that.

I'm nauseous most of the time, but I think it gets worse in the evenings. I throw up probably once a day now, dry heave several times a day.
Seltzer helps in the moment. I haven't tried the medicine yet, but if I find myself regularly miserable then I will. It's just so much better than last time, I feel like I can't complain.

I started around 6 weeks. I eat small and often. I was throwing up 2-3 times a day so they put me on diclegic mentioned above. I was on Zofran with DD, but this seems to help. I forgot to take it Saturday night so I was miserable yesterday. Feel better today. I still got sick a few times while taking it, but not like before, and it was later in the day.
I'm trying to avoid Zofran because that backed me up SO BAD last time.
