king26, yay for J sttn! I hope he continues that trend. It gets so frustrating when you know they can, and refuse. Yes. This is my life. He also makes up for STTN by being a total beast the next night 😒😒😒 Of course N fell over today and had a big red bump with scratches in legit the middle of his forehead. 🤦🏻♀️ I think all the babies decided to mark up their faces in preparation for birthday pics 🤣 You know my lyfe! That scratch on her nose is now a big scab because of course it is just in time for her party Saturday 🙄

M’s party is tomorrow and wouldn’t you know the weather looks shitty 🙄 this does not bode well for 30ish people at my small ranch house.

We have our joint party tomorrow too. Rain in the morning as of right now. Hopefully it won't be too humid in the afternoon. We have 45ish people coming to a cabin so we'll need to be outside.
BTDT nursing moms: did you stop offering BM in a bottle after a year? E has never taken a bottle well. I know we'll keep nursing after a year, but I'm not sure what to do for daycare and the weekend the kids will be at my parents without me. She still likes to nurse once during the night and about 4 other times during the day. Do I just see how she does with WCM and send that instead?

I’m still offering in a bottle but might make the switch soon since she doesn’t seem to have much of an attachment to it. (Or at least I think that. Joke could be on me) Since you said E has never taken a bottle well, can you just offering it in a cup instead? Are you pumping when your going to be away from her? If not then maybe start mixing with WCM now to get her used to the transition.

So J of course didn't STTN again but he was only up once at midnight then slept in until 7 which is unheard of. I think he is hitting a growth spurt because naps are long, night sleep is long, and he is pounding food which doesn't happen. Like we went to pizza hut today and I think he ate a cup of pasta, half of one piece of pizza, and a breadstick..this is not normal. Anyone else going through a spurt? Hes sleeping like an extra 1 or 2 hours the last 3 days.

She napped for over 2.5 hrs today and always pounds food 😂 There is a growth spurt at 12 months so that could definitely be going on for J. I wondered about M too.

Ugh I know. I cleaned up the house last night after I put A down and I woke up with so much dog hair already. 🙈 I don’t even have a dog and it’s never clean. We even got a robot vacuum and the dining room is a perpetual mess bc my child loves to throw his food. After every meal I need to vacuum. Hot damn. And he doesn’t understand the concept of cleaning up toys yet and some nights I don’t have the energy so 🤷🏻♀️

Probably because I just walked out of the house and sat on the porch petting my cat for 20 mins so I wouldn't punch someone. J spills his food now before even tasting it!

J was up 5 times last night and pounded a bottle of water each time. He screams so loud he wakes his sister. I need sleep MH needs sleep. They even woke up the inside baby and she started kicking which kept me up longer. She is not even born yet and the three of them are conspiring against us!

I have spent the last two days working on getting a clogged duct out. This is awful. I finally got it out yesterday afternoon and now I just have bruised like pain. But ooooof.
Weaning is clearly not going well. 🤦🏻♀️

I made N cry it out after he guzzled a bottle. He’d wake up when I’d transfer him back to his crib and scream. After two tries I said nope sorry bro. He cried and at some point stopped and I fell asleep. Not really sure how long he cried for 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Kinda feel bad that I fell asleep while he was crying I think but 🤷🏻♀️

R’s party is today. I’m trying to keep her up this morning before her first nap. Usually she would have gone to sleep around 8:30am, but the party is at 1pm and she would have needed a second nap at 1:30-2pm. Hopefully, this doesn’t backfire.
We made he cake last night and there was a lot of yelling, as per usual when we make cakes. But, it went better than T’s in March. I’m hoping for a good cake/ice cream reaction since R loves food.

You guys. A has been such a whiny mess the past few days. I know his top teeth are pushing through, so I’m trying to be patient, but it’s really grating my nerves. I just need one day without meltdowns to recharge!
I’ve been scared to run errands this weekend after his complete tantrum had us leave Home Deopt empty handed cause I could not calm him down. All my tricks failed.

We are back from our trip to the ILs, which was exhausting with both kids off schedule, not sleeping well, etc. DD is being a clingy little banshee too which is tiring on its own.
I can’t believe it’s birthday month for our babies! I am loving seeing what you guys have done to celebrate!
