bsouls, Happy Birthday to R! Her and M are birthday twins. My last baby is 1 today too...Gaaahhh
Happy Birthday to M! I got a little emotional when I was updating R’s baby book the other night - I miss my baby. But, it’s so exciting watching her grow and learn.
Of course she has never hit her face till today. She bashed her nose and now has a big red cut on the bridge of her nose. Makes for some great bday pics 😂

This is always my kids too. Want a good picture? Bruise immediately. Newborn pics and need to be sleeping? I'd like to be wide awake right now.
R is one today! Took T and her to Billy Beez - it wasn’t really worth it for her, since impede kids kept coming into the toddler zone. But, they had fun.
We were low on formula so we started adding milk to bottles on Sunday. R didn’t seem to care. Last night I put her last bottle in a sippy cup and she did fine. This morning I didn’t warm the milk/formula before adding it to the sippy cup and she did good.
How much milk are they supposed to have at this age? The internet seems to say 8-12 ounces a day including other dairy. So, she just drank 5 ounces, but had 7 in the sippy cup. So, we should be offering 4 ounces, three times a day? That seems like such a cut and her doctor’s appointment isn’t for another two weeks.

Yeah I worry about this because j loves his milk and formula. He drinks 25 oz. A day now so 12 seems like way too little. Hes been getting half and half but I think hes in a growth spurt and cries for more. I just fil it with plain milk and he loves it. Now to get him to dri k milk from his sippy cup.

D. is refusing her bottles while at daycare, and drinking from something else goes so so. They tried sippy cups, straw cups, regular cups, and our miracle 360 cup that I gave with to DC last week. I've been giving that miracle cup to her daily with some water now to get her more used to it, which seems to work. Maybe I should start giving her before-bed bottle (the only bottle she gets at home during the day) in that miracle cup thingy as well. Thanks for the tip
bsouls I think it's up to 24oz a day of WCM is ok.
This. I looked it up and the things I read said 20-30oz (so like 25 is perfect).
I looked back at the sheets from the doctor for T and it said 10-20 ounces of 2% milk at 12 months. That was almost 3.5 years ago, so I guess we will see.

Huh. I know with DS, pedi wanted him on WCM until 2. And he still drinks 18 oz or so a day at 3.

Yeah I also thought it should be wcm until 2 unless medically there was a reason not to.
Guys...J slept through the night!!!! Went down at 8 didn't get up until 630. I was up 3 times but went right back to sleep all 3 times so it was a good night! He probably won't do it again but I'll take it, especially since I'm back to work next week. Last time he STTN it was 9 hours and about 2 months ago so 10.5 hours is awesome.

Yay J, well done! I hope he liked it as good as you did and will give you more of these STTN nights :-)
My MIL collects Willow Tree figurines and ever since I ran into this one in May I been meaning to get it for her. Of course I never actually did yet.. so I bought it last night and it should arrive tomorrow. I dunno why but now I feel awkward about giving it to her. Like, here's a sweet figuring of a grandmother holding a baby, better cuddle with D now as much as you still can.. I know my head is just being crazy (my thoughts have been spinning in all kinds of awful scenarios involving everybody I love) but ugh.

D has spots all over her face from the chicken pox and insect bites and from toppling over as well. I can only hope they are less visible come her bday but i sorta doubt it heh
