Tuesday is my WW weigh in day so I wanted to wait to post.
Ultimate goal: Lose another 25 lbs
This week's goal: Continue tracking my food and make smart choices
How are you doing so far? Good! Down another 1.1 this week even with the major AF bloat. Total weight loss is now 28.3!
Why are you working towards this goal? I want to lose as much as possible before hopefully getting pregnant. Also I want to keep weight gain to a minimum this time around. I normally gain at least 50 during pregnancy.
What are your obstacles towards reaching your goal? DH is a bad influence. He always wants to eat crap so I have to use a lot of willpower not to give in. It's definitely getting easier for me now that I am not hungry all the time like I was in the beginning.

Ultimate goal: Lose 30 lbs. I'm happy with 15 or 20 but 30 is my crazy goal.
This week's goal: I'm hoping to lose at least 2 lbs this week.
How are you doing so far? I've gotten back into my workout routine and haven't missed a day in over 2 weeks. I joined a dietbet to give me some motivation. I was pregnant when work ended in June so I want to make sure when I go back in September that I don't look even remotely pregnant. I have one coworker who heard a phone call I had with my doctor and knows I was pregnant. I don't want her asking about it because I might lose the plot.
Why are you working towards this goal? I just need to get back to myself. I gained all of this weight this past year due to the two pregnancies, losses, and TTC. I'm just not happy looking like this and it's affecting the way I act towards everyone.
What are your obstacles towards reaching your goal? Myself. Honestly that’s it right now. My hormones are finally back to normal so the pregnancy nausea is gone which was making me eat a lot so I have no more excuses. I just have to do it!

Ultimate goal: Lose 150lbs
This week's goal: Lose 2lbs
How are you doing so far? Great! I lost another 3-ish pounds last week. I'm sitting at the -15 mark right now.
Why are you working towards this goal? Less pain, more energy, live longer, have a healthy pregnancy if we ever get pregnant.
What are your obstacles towards reaching your goal? Much like last week, I think I've moved all of the obstacles out of my way. I do want to share a story that speaks a little deeper to my motivation, especially this week.
My mom passed away on August 8, 2015 (3 years ago tomorrow). She only met DH twice. It's been three years and she's already missed SO much. My mom was disabled, had mental illness, and was extremely obese. In her last two years of life, she was in and out of the hospital, even spending a 4 month stint in an extended care/rehab center on a ventilator (conscious and aware, but unable to breathe on her own). That was the beginning of the end, she eventually got off the ventilator but never fully recovered, was on oxygen for the rest of her life, and died very suddenly one night 7 months after being released from the hospital, after her oxygen levels dropped and she went unconscious. All of this happened because she had obesity-related hypoventilation, a medical condition where an obese person's lungs cannot properly take in oxygen or release carbon dioxide. It was right before her 62nd birthday. I am 38 now. I can't imagine a world where I only have 23 years left of life. I weigh less than she did, but I never, ever want to get to the point where she was. I had a complicated relationship with her but I miss her every day and I like to think she'd be proud of the progress I've made so far.
