It's not a fun day in the Cythe house. E is mega crabby today and its killing me. I know she hurts but the 24/7 crying is driving me bananas.

Does it count if my lack of sleep is due to H’s snoring? I elbowed him like three times last night. I was hoping he’d go to the couch.

We came back from camping a night early because DS will. Not. Sleep. Camping. The first night he was up 7 times, plus the extra times I was up from other people/birds noise. The second night he was up slightly less, like 5 times. But I had to take my shirt off motn due to spit up, not once, but twice. I ended up sleeping shirtless. And he didn’t like being held/contained all day since he loves to crawl and climb and stand so he was not super happy anyways. So DH and I decided that we’d stay for the day and then leave after supper/s’mores. We knew that even leaving after/at bedtime and driving 3 hours was going to get us more sleep. So we left at 7 pm, DS slept for almost 2 of the 3 hours and DD just rested and watched movies. Everyone slept so much better at home and I feel slightly less like a zombie. Holiday here today so we are relaxing and slowly unpacking/doing laundry.

Rough time doodlemommy. I can't wait until we can go camping as a family but I'm confident that E wouldn't do well yet.

I ordered a new treadmill and it arrived today. Bent. I can’t put it together because the steel frame is crooked now. Awesome.

First official day back at work for everyone here. H got the girls out the door 15 minutes late, though since it was just a teacher day it wasn’t a huge deal. I forgot my pump parts but luckily live 5 minutes from the school and came home to pump. It has just been go, go, go since 5:00 this morning!
DD2 is super tired tonight. Just laying on the floor and playing, not really crawling or sitting. One week in and still not taking a bottle . Eating great, happy(er), but short naps and no bottles. I guess we won’t have to break the bottle habit at a year 🤷♀️

Sounds like not a fun Monday for a lot of you. I went to see Mission Impossible with DH since it was a holiday today. DD2 is up to 4 steps with out falling. It’s way too soon for this.

H somehow managed to put the treadmill together. He said I just didn’t have enough muscle for that part 🙄 and the bent piece is no big deal. We’ll see tomorrow when I try to use it

Agree. And he can load it up himself. It took me and the UPS guy to get it inside.

This kind of sounds like my nightmare and is why H and DS1 went camping this summer with FIL. I gave them a big old NOPE when H brought it up initially.

For me - the thought of camping in general is a no go. Add in infants/toddlers - no way. I am not good enough of a person. Plus:

We camped with DD as a baby and she was great! She loves camping and we usually have a great time. We go twice a year, once with DH’s family and once with mine. DS however...apparently hates it. We will see next year if we try again. I might try to get people to camp an hour-ish from home instead of 3 and then I can always take DS home at night and let DH and DD stay in the tent 🤷♀️

I don’t like Tom Cruise but the MI movies are fun and it’s amazing to see the stunts when you know that they are real and not green screen.
