I found flights on different days that weren't too crazy. But now my mom said she thinks I will disrupt LO and cause him to go crazy visiting. I just don't know what I should do. 😞

I hope he’s ok kim22. Was it superficial? The doctor stitched a few layers inside and we could see muscle moving so it was pretty deep. He has crutches and has to go back on Monday. Now he and the dog can limp around together. The dog limp is still being called a soft tissue injury and we are suppose to keep her calm but that’s not going so well with a puppy. What leg is the puppy limping on? If it’s s back leg I would wonder if she had either a torn cruciate(ligament tear in a back leg) or a luxating patella (slipped kneecap). Usually we would do two weeks of NSAIDS and “cage rest” and if it wasn’t better than do X-rays. Have they mentioned that at all? I forget, what breed is she? |

Starting school and adjusting to a new sibling is a lot and it would be good for him to have time to process before school starts. |

She first started limping on vacation last month. I took her to the vet when we got back and they did X-rays and gave her a single nsaid shot. They said X-rays were good and they did both legs to compare. They called it a soft tissue injury. She got better quickly. Thursday she was fine all day, I left her crated while we went to hockey and H came home first and let her out and she was limping. He called the vet and they are in the process of closing down and merging with another animal hospital. H took her to the new place yesterday. They did not have her records yet but put her on anti-inflammatory pills for 7 days. She’s a black lab mixed with we don’t know what. She’s about 40 lbs now. |

Operation life reset is going well today. Luckily Tim did all of the laundry yesterday. He's so great sometimes! I've managed to dust/vac, get all my paperwork organized, reorganize my pantry cabinets (Next home MUST have an actual pantry) clean out the fridge, defrost the freezer, meal plan and soon I'm heading to the grocery store. I need to get better about daily life maintenance. I let shit get overwhelming and it just stresses me out. Holy cow, you're already nesting! |

I had a terrible night of sleep. We had a thunderstorm around 1am and I swear the lighting was hitting right outside of my house, it was so loud and bright. When it was time to wake up I didn’t want to. Now I’m at work, but the good news is I get off work at 2 and can just relax the rest of the day (and probably take a nap).

I’m glad they did X-rays kim22. That’s what I was concerned about. It probably is soft tissue since they did the X-rays already. Hopefully a week on meds helps her out. |

C is up. Half of my SILs family is up. The plan is to get to breakfast early and leave the Cape early to avoid traffic home. The other half of their family need to get up stat.

Aww poor pup kim22. Hope the anti-inflammatory will do the trick. Our lab overdid it recently (when we opened the pool and she was jumping in/swimming so much). She favored one of her back legs for a few days but all was ok. Y'all look great klong11. Hope the wedding was fun! chrisy01 I guess I'm in the minority--I would miss B like crazy but if he was having fun and [my parents] weren't overwhelmed I would let him stay as planned and I'd stay home. As our parents age and our kids' lives get busier they won't always have the chance to do things like this, so I'd be all for letting B create good memories with my parents while everyone is able. |

Well, M was a big hit last night. It was the slowest walk down the aisle in the history of weddings. The maid of honor had to meet them halfway.
Halfway through the ceremony the ring bearer’s cowboy hat flew off. M helped him retrieve it and put it back on his head.
She asked him to dance at the reception by he said no. An hour later he came over to ask her to dance though. They were the cutest. At the end of the night he came over and planted a big wet kiss on her. Lol.
