peachsmama I was on a GD thread the other day and it mentioned cleaning with equal parts blue dawn and vinegar, have you used that before? I tried it yesterday and it’s a life changer, spray on, wait a little, wipe off. Exactly zero scrubbing. I think I’m going to try it on my shower tiles this weekend. If you havent tried it I highly recommend.

vino I don’t think you could go wrong with either of these. A fashion blogger I follow on IG raves about the dyson you linked. She said her husband gifted it to her for Christmas one year and she wasn’t happy about it, but she now loves it and it’s one of her favorite gifts. I’ve heard great things about the robot vac, too. If I had different carpet- or no carpet- I would probably already have one. At least with this option you won’t have to do the work yourself!

cagoldi I tried the flax milk. It's okay. Odd after taste. Is it something I'll get use to? I'll admit that I'm not a huge risk taker when I eat food. If it is just for you, what about soy or coconut? I'm partial to plain coconut

C won't touch faux milk as he calls it and LO should drink cows milk since that's what they serve at school and I don't want to cause them problems. I have tried soy in the past, not a fan. I'm not a fan of coconut in general but I'll add it to my list to try.

vino, What are you cleaning with blue Dawn and vinegar? I love all the cleaning hacks. I put it in a spray bottle, and sprayed it all over the kids tub. The handle, faucet, drain plug and the entire tub. Using it for almost 5 years it seems there is a constant ring around the tub, even though I feel like I’ve tried everything. It literally just wiped it all down, I could have been in a commercial. I plan to use it next on J’s high chair straps and our shower tiles.

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies on milk alternatives. It sounds like I'll be trying a lot of different milks these next few weeks.

This is what I had to do last year when I was looking for an alternative. FWIW B switches between dairy and non dairy wothout issue. Good luck! I’m sure you’ll find something, there are so many options

Just did a load of dishes, a load of laundry and organized the freezer. I have enough breastmilk in the freezer for 3 days...

cagoldi I'm 85% in for Denver. I need to confirm with mh. We are going to PR in the spring but he should have no problem scheduling around a girl's trip

I asked our part-time girl to work tomorrow for me, but she has school orientation with her oldest. I really was hoping I could stay home tomorrow. Our radiologist did call in a script for Abx for me, so let’s hope that works and I feel brand new in the morning. My humidifier was delivered today too, so that should help as well.

vino I have the dyson and I love it. Super easy to use and maneuver & a couple of attachments that I use when vacuuming out the car and car seats. Just make sure to empty out the canister in the trash after every big use if you suck up pet hair.

So dumb question about the dawn and vinegar... can you mix a big spray bottle with equal parts and use as needed, or do you need to mix what you need and use it all right away?

cagoldi Thanks for keeping on top of the GTG. I am a maybe, but am hoping I can make it happen. I am probably going to Spain to visit my mom next spring/summer and still figuring out when that will be. Looking forward to seeing the new 'do wedding!

I dont see why you couldn’t do that. Maybe do a small portion (1/2 cup each) that way if it becomes ineffective you aren’t wasting much. I’ll try it tomorrow and see 🤷♀️

I have about 15-18oz in my freezer that I pumped at home while A was still in the hospital. It's probably about 4 months old now and he's been on full formula for probably about 3.5 months or so. Do I give him the breastmilk or just toss it at this point?

cagoldi I’m a maybe. We have a family reunion in early May so I think we’re going to have to take our spring beach trip in April, and we were looking at either the week before or after Easter. If we end up scheduling it before the holiday I’m in. Speaking of cleaning hacks, I saw this the other day and am going to order it once we get home. Looks amazing! www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRLZ43B?aaxitk=UT9bcwSACqH4g9gC9Bfwiw

I'd still use it. they say 6 months if in a freezer that is not part of the fridge (like a separate door). If you don't want to give him it in a bottle, does he eat cereal or oatmeal? I used to use it to make cereal sometimes
