Went to VS to get re-measured. My bra size has gone from a 32C to a 34C. Cannot wait for my new bras to be washed and dried (they’re on deck). My poor girls are being strangled and squished. I have red indentations from my current bras and it’s officially not cool.

Did anyone have IV pain meds during L&D with previous births? I had an epidural last time, but I noticed on some paperwork that I also have the option for IV pain meds this time. Obviously I will ask my OB about it; just looking for anecdotal experience. My midwife gave me an injection of pain meds with DS1 and I hated the way they made me feel and I also don’t think they helped with the pain at all.

I don’t remember such strong pregnancy emotions with DD. I just sobbed uncontrollably in my kitchen for 15 minutes about something that may have irked my non-pregnant self. But, because pregnant, you’d think someone died.
DD gave me a hug and then asked if H bit me 😂 Hahaha, no.

quijibo I usually have a cold, dead heart. But the past few weeks, like 50% of the time I am talking to MH I’m also wiping tears from my eyes. So many emotions!!

I feel like I’m generally a hard person to rattle and offend. But, damn, so many feels right now. They’re constantly bubbling at the surface. My H is getting major kudos for managing my extra-ness with lots of hugs and hair pats and promises of s’mores.

quijibo, I'm not one that cries often...but this past week I cried in the bathroom at work (not my finest moment), and in the car twice while listening to the Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack. I'm a mess.

Add me to the crying bandwagon, I get emotional over every damn thing now! Especially if I'm mad about something, which seems to be more often recently. I swear it's the testosterone from carrying a boy, I don't remember this from last time (or I blocked it out lol). I mostly just remember crying because I was hangry or because there was a food I wanted that i couldn't have. MH has been taking it in stride, luckily.

The leaking boobs & nightly hot flashes have made their appearance. Thank you third tri!
Last week we got this tease of almost fall temps and now it's back to being hot & muggy. Gross.

+1 to all the crying and emotions. I wore myself out Saturday morning.. it just came out of nowhere, and I wanted to sleep the rest of the day.
Unfortunately I had plans that day. Lol

I spent my weekend sick and in bed. A cold the toddler had that was NBD morphed into some plague when passed on to me. I will give all my monies to the research of effective cold medicine for pregnants. Tylenol, cough drops and nasal spray do not cut it.

I hung on to my bigger bras from last time thank goodness.

So DS has lice...it was going around his daycare and I was hoping we'd avoid it. I've been washing his stuff constantly but no such luck! Ughh. I took the day off today and am going to take him to a treatment facility to hopefully be done with this. So gross.
On a more positive note, DS has been so sweet about the baby. This morning he woke up gave my belly a hug and said I love my baby. My heart couldn't be more full.

My DS has also been sweet about the baby. I’m an emotional hormonal hot mess lately and each time he talks to his “brudder” I tear up.

I am eating everything lately. I swore this pregnancy would be different and I wouldn’t shove all the carbs in my face, yet here I sit, shoving carbs in my face.

DD1 was “wiping” her babies butt and we asked her if she was going to change sisters diapers and she came over and pulled up my shirt and started wiping my belly 😭❤

DS keeps saying that if my belly bump is the baby, then my boobs (he is gesturing, not saying “boobs”) must be where I’m holding my food, and asking if I’m sure the baby isn’t “in there” (boobs).
😬it’s a confusing time.

That is so funny. My DD thinks the baby is in my boobs and has tried to feel him in there more than once. Correcting her has not been successful. Just waiting until she tells someone outside the family where the baby is.

Lol. My DS is convinced that the baby is actually just under my shirt/clothes at any given time. Like, he asks me to lift my shirt up, and then is confused as to why he can't see the baby. So last night I think I FINALLY got him to understand that baby is inside mommy, under her skin. And he said, "how will he come out?" So I told him that when it's time for baby to come out, that's why mommy will need to go to the hospital for the doctors to help her. And he was like, "so you don't know how to get the baby out?" Apparently my son thinks I'm not very good at birthing babies.

jillywilly lol! my son said “so your tummy is gonna rip open when he comes out?” I guess he is predicting I’ll have a c-section.

I told my 3 year old yesterday that the baby is going to pop out of my vagina. She started laughing and totally didn't believe me.

Diordra I may have photographic proof of a McDonald’s chicken sandwich chilling in my purse during an OB visit 😂 No shame. I’m classy AF.

DD grazed my belly with her elbow this morning. I about jumped out of my skin. So much ouch. I wish there was a clear reason behind the crazy tenderness. I’m legit not excited for HB check tomorrow because of the painful spots 😔

N knows that Dylan is in my belly. It's cute. He tells everyone at daycare that Dylan is his baby. He's added me to the list now too. Mommy and Dylan are MY BABIES.
The other night he lifted my shirt up to look at my belly, and my boobs popped out, and he's like "Mommy I love your boobas too." He then proceeded to stick his face in between them and motorboat them. So my 3 YO is a boob man.

I told my 3 year old yesterday that the baby is going to pop out of my vagina. She started laughing and totally didn't believe me. My BFF had that conversation with her almost 5 year old DD the other week! She explained that she came out of mommy's belly (C-section) and her little brother came out of mommy's vagina and her DD made a face and said "That's gross, I'm just going to believe he came out of your belly, too" I haven't explained more than "Baby brother is going to come out of mommy's belly when it's time to be born" to my almost 3 year old because I just know she'll stride into preschool and announce it to everyone. She already likes to loudly talk about babies we see out and about and how they came out of their mommy's bellies. She also likes to tell me that she has a baby in her belly and so does Daddy.

I haven’t yet been able to have the vagina conversation properly with DS because he still refuses to believe I don’t have my own penis that’s just “hidden” or “broken” somewhere. 🤔

DS1 was 6.5 when I had DS2 and I told him how babies were born. The next day he went into school and told his entire class how babies were born. The teachers didn’t exactly scold me but no one was pleased that DS1 had opened that can of worms. I was all *shruugy guy* whatever about it but I guess DS1 saying babies come out of moms vaginas was too much for them.
This year DS1 saw an animal giving birth and asked why the baby was all bloody in the beginning. I told him that’s just how all babies come out and he totally just took it in stride.
DS2 points to “baby Felix” and looks at my belly sometimes but I think he is more fascinated by my belly button stretching out so much.
