Our newest crawl. No more knee crawling ever. He also tries to get to a standing position from this bear crawl.

duskymonkey Engrish.com is hilarious! Thanks for sharing that little treasure yesterday. I am cracking up reading it...so many good ones from Japan. Reminds me of a lady H and I saw walking on our street the other day. She was this sweet looking little Thai lady in her mid-60s and had a black T-shirt in with huge white letting that said “Fuck Mondays.” 😂🤣😂 I am 99% sure she didn’t understand the gravity of the language on her shirt. Okay day over here. We made Mexican tonight and DS1 was a champ - he ate his whole burrito! It’s the American inside him I think.

He was fascinated with that rock. *poof*
10 month photos went smooth. 🤦♀️ He's crying because I sat him back down after he tried crawling off the couch. *poof*

👋 staying busy over here. DS1 is almost completely potty trained, and DD starts K at the end of the month (sob). DS2 is sleeping a tiny bit better-up 3 times most nights. I've been trying to work on my attitude, since it's been lousy lately. I love this picture of S, he looks like a baby still! He's decided crawling is too slow and he's walking now! I don't know how to share a video, but it's adorable to see him toddling around after his siblings.

curmudgeon LO half crawls, half bear walks. His left leg stays low and he crawls on his knee. But with his right leg he uses his foot instead of knee. It is....something.

I mean, I have this one but I didn't want to share it so everyone didn't think my kid runs around with food stained clothes all day. Which she does. Because I'm lazy and forget bibs frequently.

mommabakes I’m with you. Stop waking up kid. I’m tired of it. cythe she is a sassy one! Here she is passed out in the back of the nanny’s car. She is standing on her own now for a few seconds at a time. I’m sure she will be walking soon. Where did my tiny baby go? 😢

DS is a bear crawler too, probably for the last month or so, it’s so cute! He stands on his own for a couple seconds, cruises, and walks so easily with his walker or holding someone’s hand, I’m sure he’s not far off either! Now if only he’s stop climbing everything...

DS had been sleeping 7-5/6, eating, back down until 7. The last two nights he’s woken up at 3ish to eat, waking at 6/6:30 and staying awake. I’m dragging. I feel for you guys who are waking up more each night. I fear for camping this weekend, last time he was up like 4-5 times each night 😭

cythe, i normally strip DS2 to naked to eat. He rubs everything in his hair and needs a bath after 2/3 meals anyway. Otherwise, he probably stains his clothes. I don't have the energy to fight it. DS1 is fantastic at using the potty, as long as he is naked from the waist down. If you put underwear or pants on him, he will pee or poop in them. Guaranteed. I don't know how to do this step.

Sits in my lap then suddenly, and without warning, twists into a nursing position and laughs at me. She doesn't laugh when she does it and I'm sitting in her rocker that has wooden arm rests.

She was so proud of herself for climbing up here. She loves to climb. DD1 never did so we’re having to pay a lot more attention to leaving doors open to bedrooms or cabinets and such.

DD1 never did so we’re having to pay a lot more attention to leaving doors open to bedrooms or cabinets and such. snip DS2 climbed up onto a box of diapers a few weeks ago. Sat there for a minute then fell off (MOTY here). He's always looking for footing when standing next to things to climb up them. We also did NOT have climbing issues with DS1. He wasn't a climber, runner, etc. So I'm a little scared of what we're going to be dealing with here.

DS suddenly has decided to approach nursing as a gymnastic event 😒 Just eat kid. No need to be upside down This is why I haven't been able to post much lately! I need both hands to pin his legs and arms down while nursing. Meh! Add to the fact that he started crawling and is getting faster and pulling up on things so I have to really keep an eye on him. Also today he developed separation anxiety. I can't walk away for a few feet. He'll complain and start crawling after me. I do not remember this with DS. SaveSave

SaveSaveLO just started full on stranger danger and big time separation anxiety this week! We had his 9 month checkup today, and he just lost it when the doctor or any nurses so much as looked at him. What’s up baby? You used to be such a busy body! I hope this phase is short lived. In good news, I think I’ve been able to keep the mastitis/clog at bay...my right side isn’t as tender and all the red spots/streaks have gone away. No fever for me either. It still hurts like crazy when LO latches on that side, but I am hoping if we keep nursing through it and if I keep drinking a ton of water, things will resolve themselves by this weekend. 🤞🤞 Also - we are seeing Mission Impossible: Fallout tonight. Super excited!

I swear DD did not have this kind of separation anxiety. I can’t walk 2 feet away in full view yet he speed crawls away from me constantly (mostly to go climb the stairs 🙄). Babies man 🤷♀️

+1 to having a climber. I have been trying to teach him how to go down the stairs/get off things because he is so darn fast and climbs on anything and everything. Oh and he thinks it’s hilarious. I will follow him to the stairs and say “where do you think you’re going?” and he laughs and laughs and proceeds to crawl up as fast as he possibly can. Keeps me on my toes that one. DD was (and is) a rule follower so we never had these issues haha
