+1000 to unruly 4 year old. When he was at home he wouldn't listen to me. My parents claim he's fine for them when I'm not FaceTime-ing or calling but who knows. When he comes home we are going to have a rough adjustment period.

Yes, 4 y/o olds can be impossible. I hate to say it but so can 6 y/os..and teenagers. And husbands for that matter Did I mention I was currently at Starbucks escaping my family?

I have an Aldi nearby my gym that is currently under construction, but I love it. I buy lots of staples there, fill in with Costco on the stuff we need a lot of, and order the rest for pick up at a regular grocery store. Yes, it's a lot of stores to go to, but I've finally got some semblance of a system.

flamingo I am shopping for random classes and comfy fall clothes for myself. So far I am going to take a golf lesson, learn pickle ball and make Scandinavian wood ornaments...all in the joggers and oversized sweaters/sweatshirts I am ordering

I've had quite the morning at work. It started out rough and just coming up for air. Doesn't help that the boys shared their cold with me so I don't feel too hot.

I called the pedi this morning about the abx and waiting for them to call back with a notification of a new prescription. One more patient until lunch. I'll be taking a long one.

ok...weird question...can one just walk up to a fire station and the firemen will be ok with that? Cadence's school was supposed to have firemen come and visit today, but it has yet to happen. If they don't come this afternoon, then I know she's going to be super disappointed because she has been talking about their visit for quite some time. I'm just wondering if they would let us look around, or show us around, if we just show up to the firehouse down the street from us.

Hi guys. We met some friends at the zoo this morning. The girls all had fun playing together. Now they are both napping. Not sure what we will do for the rest of the day. I was considering the pool but I don’t think I’m in the mood for that.

Any recs for a good humidifier? I tried to use the one I have last night and found out the resevoir broke from M2 pulling it down. I didn't care for it becuase it was hard to clean, so If you have one that's easy to clean, please share!

I don't know if this counts as a "good" humidifier, but I just bought a new essential oil diffuser/humidifier for myself and the kids. I have mentioned before that I use the Good Sleep essential oil blend in one for Bea, but I liked the added benefit of using it as a humidifier too. Plus my kids will use it as a night light.

Thanks vino, and dapostrophe, I'll check those out. I didn't realize the filter thing until after I bought the one I have. It was an Amazon prime day deal and it did the job, but a pain to keep clean.

+whatever to a more difficult 4 yo. Cass doesn't tantrum really, but gets insanely whiny and just shuts down, pouts, and refuses to function. She straight up told me "I'm pouting" at the skating rink the other day.

We used to have a Roth's IGA in my hometown. It was my favorite grocery store because they would have cake walks. We would always win because my mom would be there with the daycare kids so we took up like 10 numbers in the store. Cake for lunch dessert! I think an IGA opened there again but it's really expensive.
