I’ve mentioned this to my doctor a few times, but I always get brushed off. My entire abdominal area hurts. From my boobs on down. I get especially uncomfortable after I eat and ultrasounds actually hurt in spots. When I mention the pain, I’m simply told that there are a lot of ligaments stretching and things moving. But... I’ve done this before... I’ve never had this with DD. Ultrasounds never hurt. I had to breathe deep during my 20 week scan because one particular spot was so tender. Does this really seem normal? I’m going to mention it again at my OB appointment tomorrow morning. I’m pretty tired of feeling this discomfort.

I definitely have a few tender spots too. But yours sounds like it's more all over than mine? I felt uncomfortable at the 20 week scan too when she hit a few spots so I know the feeling you're describing I think.
Mention it again for sure to be on the safe side. I had this with my first pregnancy too. But I still say mention it.

I have my fingers crossed because I always feel like such crap after dinner until morning. My whole abdomen is just uncomfortable. And, yes to the tender spots. They really only hurt when pressed, but man... ouch. OB said it’s common in subsequent pregnancies. I’m like, “So I don’t have tumors across my stomach?” The OB is like, “😐.” lol. Hypochondriac, I tend to be.

I find I get all-over belly pain when I have to pee and don't go right away, especially when I'm in bed. I wake up with my belly aching and then have to hoist myself up and go pee. And I get it when I eat too much as well. I had it a little with my first, but definitely more and earlier this time. So, solidarity, but totally talk to your OB again about it.

I've also been having more belly discomfort/pain. If I eat too much, I definitely feel it. And I was just at my fetal echo cardiogram this morning, so when she was pressing down in certain spots to see the different chambers of the heart, it can definitely feel a little tender. I think things are just growing really fast right now, and squishing other digestive organs when we eat, but if it continues to really bother you, definitely bring it up again.

Definitely try the Zantac and see if that helps. They sell extra-strength, too. My heartburn/indigestion/whatever wasn’t easily identifiable to me as that, I just knew my stomach was killing me. The Zantac helped a lot.

The Zantac helped a lot. Good to know! Yeah, the discomfort is really hard to describe. I’ve never had indigestion or heartburn, so I’m like, “Is this it? Is that what’s happening?” Will be stopping at CVS tonight.
