sunny75 DD would have been 5 if we didnt lose this baby. With last year's loss DD would have been 4 at baby's EDD and she was still so dependant on me. At 4.5 she is already so much more independent. As time goes on I honestly see the benefits of more of a gap. DD will be so independent, will want to help taking care of the baby, sleeps through the night no matter what crazy noise is going on around her, is in school which gives alone time with baby, can get her own food and drinks when hungry, plays really well by herself, and I don't have to be with her constantly for fear of her falling down stairs or running with scissors etc. I was happy with a 5 year age gap. But am likely even happier now if we do try again with an even bigger gap. For me it's not about giving her a playmate. I never played with my siblings and they are fairly close to me in age. DD's cousins range from 6 to 10 years older than her and it's actually a really nice age gap.

loorin, I'm so sorry you didn't get better news. Have you had any of those levels tested before or was this the first time? Hopefully your doc has more insight and a plan.

Thanks - no this is the first time I’ve had this kind of bloodwork so it’s a bit of a shock. I’m looking forward to hearing the plan moving forward.

Month/Cycle: Month 30. Cycle 8AL. 6 losses in two years.
Timing: EOD or possibly ED this week.
CD/DPO: CD8
Symptoms: N/a
RRCS: I've finally started opks. I knew my cycle pretty well but with all the losses I have undergone some hormonal changes, so I want to use opks for a few month to see whether the physical signs of O are the same as they were a couple of years ago. I'm using a digital kit as it was actually cheaper, who knows why. It claims to show a flashing sign for a few days when you're highly fertile, and then a steady symbol from 24 hours before O, for when you are most fertile. I knew I ovulated early but I already had the flashing symbol today on cd8.
It's our tenth wedding anniversary on Thursday so I know H will be even more upset than usual if it isn't this month.
L will be four, or very nearly, if we have a successful pregnancy soon. She would have been 17 months if Gracie Wren had lived. Our family will always look different from how we imagined it. I definitely think a bigger gap will be easier in lots of ways.

purple so much luck to you this month!!! I love my digital OPKs. I have a fertility monitor but it only lets me test once a day so it usually misses my peak. I always look at the test lines once it gives me a high reading and when the line starts looking darker I test with a regular digi later in the day. I figure they never hurt:)

Your DD sounds a lot like my DD so hopefully the timing will work out perfectly for both of us.

Cycle/month: 13
Timing: I think -4, -1, O (if I O’d on CD 14)
CD/DPO: CD 16/waiting on FF to confirm O, but I think it was CD14 or 15.
Symptoms: sore nipples and other normal O symptoms
RRCS: We have our consult with the fertility urologist on Monday. It’s been a frustrating week. H hasn’t been doing so well with quitting smoking and we’ve been fighting a lot. I’m tired of feeling like I’m the only one in this marriage having to put into effort into ttc. H was also irritated with my suggestion of every 3 days, despite seeing the difference with his test results. The month after month of timed sex is really taking its toll on our relationship.

Radley best of luck to you! Please update us if you feel comfortable doing so. sammysam hugs. I know I keep waiting for a decision on what to do to just come to me and for it to bring peace with it, but I don’t think that’s ever going to happen. Why can’t this just be easier? charliefox so sorry about the temp drop. I have everything crossed for you that IVF will be your ticket out of here. loorin sorry about the blood work results. When do you meet with the doctor to go over them? Hopefully they will have a plan for you moving forward. Sorry for the CD1s beenthere and radiantfate

octoberrust I'm sorry things are getting rough with your H. I totally get it. With us I felt I was the one doing all the work with TTC too and I completely resented him for that. I hope things work out for you soon and that you get out of here quickly. As much as I want a second I am just too scared to say yes to TFAS again right now. SO of course made it all about him but we've been fighting constantly about the house even while I was pregnant and literally seconds before I went into surgery so that on top of everything has me questioning if a second is even right for our family at all. I do wish an answer would just come to me!

Radley, I really thought I had wished you all the best yesterday. Sorry that I left you out. I really hope the process goes smoothly for you. sammysam, it isn't a week since the D&C. I really think it's too soon to make decisions now, especially since you're benched for a few weeks anyway. It does sound as though living apart might be making your SO unrealistic about what parenting actually entails, so I might be inclined to wait until the New Year to make a final decision.

Anybody have any updates?
I'm just over here waiting for CD1 to start soon. I'm just hoping so much that I'm not benched again next cycle. I really haven't even had a chance to be pregnant this whole summer and I'm about to go crazy.

I feel a lot like last month at this time so I’m not feeling very positive but I guess we’ll see!

3dpo here. I’m pretty sure I have BV 😫 My doctor called in a Rx for me so hopefully I can get it cleared up before my next fw. I’m not sure if it will have hurt my chances this cycle or not. I had BV almost exactly a year ago and the antibiotics gave me a YI, The YI treatment made the BV come back, it dragged on forever before finally clearing up. I just hope that doesn’t happen again this time.

I have my monitoring ultrasound and labs on Friday morning. I’m hoping 2 rounds of clomid in one cycle did the trick and the RE goes with the trigger.
I am also planning on being super extra at the appointment and request a first beta at 12dpo (Wednesday) and follow-up on Friday at 14dpo. It doesn’t make sense, but I can’t go into the weekend in suspense/limbo about doubling time.

CD 4 here. DH is gone but may be getting back in time for my FW, we will have to see. If he gets here, he gets here. If not, nothing I can do about it.

Had a monitoring appointment this morning and went over my lab results with my dr. Good news is I have 2 19 mm follicles, so I responded well to letrozole and I had a post coital test today which looked perfect. Bad news is I for sure am well on my way to premature ovarian failure, likely a result of some thyroiditis issues I've had. Dr wants to move straight to IVF now, but my insurance has no coverage ... if we switch to my H's for next year it will cover up to $35k. So, I'm feeling better than I was, hoping I'll get pregnant before the end of the year and not need IVF, but I'll be ready to roll with that come January if needed.

So on ultrasound, it looks like two follicles just released eggs. Labs confirm ovulation happened and potentially very recently. I start the progesterone tonight and am saying some prayers that we got it. If ovulation happened yesterday, then we only got -1, O, and can get +1. If it happened today, then we got -2, -1, and will get O. I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm nervous. I'm going to be a mess until first beta on 8/15.
On the bright side, since I didn't need an HCG trigger, I can use HPTs without worries about false positives!
