We have an infant optics one that we used for travel and liked a lot. We’re using that now since we can connect 2 cameras to it for both girls. We also had a Nest type drop cam that we used with an app on our phones with DD1 for quite a while and that was super convenient.

If you want just audio, I’ve had this for 3+ years and it’s great. VTech DM221-2 Audio Baby Monitor with up to 1,000 ft of Range, Vibrating Sound-Alert, Talk Back Intercom, Night Light Loop & Two Parent Units www.amazon.com/dp/B007NG5UEU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_M9gxBb6D5C6B4We have a nest cam too. I like it but wouldn’t want it to be my sole monitor. I guess it could work if you have a tablet you could leave the app open all the time. But if your WiFi/Internet goes out, so does the nest cam.

We have the infant optics with 2 cameras. I’ve had since DS was about 1...so over 2 years. I think I need to order a new battery though it dies rather quickly now

We have this one and have replaced it 2x in 6 years but itself pretty cheap so I don't care
